SIP/WiFi handsets?
Anyone know of any *portable* SIP/WiFi handsets? Looking for a decent price:quality ratio, of possible. Keep seeing handsets for Vonage, etc., in Best Buy and the like, but I imagine it's locked to Vonage, and can't be re-appropriated. [LLVMdev] Instruction sets requiring more than 3 operands
Dear Mr. Cheng: Thank you for kind information. Can you tell me in more detail about that? For example, I am trying to implement 'demultiplex' instruction as follows: demultiplex <multiplexid,choose,branch0id,branch1id,…,otherwisebranchid> In this case, the number of branch#id is not definite. It can be 1, 2, 3...or any number. My question was about this. I am still not sure how

rsync/jscript/cygwin problem
I'm using a javascript program to execute rsync 2.5.6 compiled with cygwin on Windows XP Pro machines. These backup the user's "My Documents" folder to a Linux server running rsync 2.5.6 in daemon mode when the user logs in to XP and certain conditions are met (e.g. user hasn't backed up for a few days, user on the network etc). This works great except every now and then

Joining PDC w/LDAP Question
Should I be required to add the machine to my passwd file even if I am using LDAP when joining a W2K domain domain? The only way I can get a machine to join my Samba PDC is via the following commands. # /usr/sbin/useradd -g 100 -d /dev/null -c "asa" -s /bin/false asa$ # smbpasswd -a -m asa I thought that using ldapsam would lookup all machine information from LDAP without having to

./configure misses LDAP
I am running Mandrake 9.0 and have installed OpenLDAP by using RPMDrake and installing it from a package included on the CD's. When I run ./configure it never finds the installation. How can I fix this? Is OpenLDAP absolutely required to get Samba working with Windows 2003? Thanks Matt

samba-ldap and password expiration
Hello every body, i am using samba (2.2.8a) with ldap support. In the samba.schema, there are special attributes relatives to the user passord: pwdMustChange, pwdCanChange, kickoffTime, logoffTime, logonTime and pwdLastSet. All the samba's documentations i can found described those attributes as "currently unused", execpt the last one that represent the time modification since 1970.

Where is mysql support?
Hi, This is a slight repetition but I have discovered more.... I have the latest beta of Samba 3.0. I want to use the MySql password authentication (mainly because I don't know and don't have time to learn LDAP). However, beyond the examples I can find no other code relating to mysql in the source tree. mysql.so in particular is not there. Is it included in the source? If not
