security
I have a user who was having problem accessing samba. So I suggested him to try to login from other system to see if it's problem with his pc or his account. Then he found that when he used other person's PC, it didn't ask for password at all and gave full access to his account! The two person's accounts are totally different. Any idea? Thanks. --

Samba3+Win9x userlist, Bug?!
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Dear List, Few days ago I've posted, that my Win9x boxes are unable to get the list of domain users and groups from samba-3.0.0 server (for details see bug 596). Unfortunately the same is true for samba-3.0.1pre1. Please people also having win9x boxes and Samba3 PDC confirm that it is a bug, or a configuration error. Thanks for any suggestion.

PDC and concurrent logins
Hello! I am using samba running as a PDC at our school. I have read many docs and howtos but I can't find anything about Concurrent logins. I would be a nice feature becouse I don't want my users to login more than one time. Is there anyone that does have a clue? Group sharing between NT and Linux domains
I need a little better information regarding the mapping of groups between an NT PDC and a SAMBA PDC, which trust each other. On the NT machine is a group called "ntgreen." On the Linux box (running RH9 with Samba 3.0), there is a group called "lxgreen". I've done a: net groupmap add ntgroup=ntgreen unixgroup=lxgreen. The mapping shows up in a net groupmap list.
