Hi, I'm running Samba as a PDC for 1 year it works great. I have one question. In this time we need for some applications Extended Attributes (EA), users can read, write, but not delete files. These applications are written in Pascal (DOS mode) :o((. Can anyone tell me, if RSBAC or LSM or any other similar project can help ne with this problem? Can Samba work with these EA? Thanks,

I just recreated this bug in samba-3.0.26a-3.3. It is as simple as creating a directory named "F-08-6104 International Management Assoc." (without the quotes), then looking at the name of the directory via XP. Hello All, I am setting up a samba backup UNIX box. It will periodically login onto a windoze box(with smbclient), pickup the files, and save them. The problem is that I couldn't make any error correction in case of power blackout or anything similar. That is, while backing up, if I shutdown the WIN machine, one I'm backing up, smbclient goes crazy, giving broken pipe error.

Correct me if I''m wrong, but you can take a simple 5/10/20 GB drive or whatever size, and turn it into exabytes of storage space?
