Running a Windows 2000 domain; recently we've made some security changes to deny anonymous users from being able to get at our user list. It would appear that one of my Domain Controllers hadn't been rebooted after that security change, and now that it has been rebooted, I can't mount smb shares off of one of our if the security setting is in place. Hi all I am having trouble joining a server to our new AD 2008 server with DOMAIN security mode. ADS Security mode works just fine ,but the server is going to be a Clearcase Vobserver and ADS is not supported. Hello, I have two machines (Samba under Linux, and Win98) that try to connect to another samba machine. They are all two seen as UNKNOWN machines. With the Linux one, I am correctly authenticated, but with the Win98, Connections are rejected. Here is a level 3 log file (It's a bit long, sorry).
