problem building dendrograms to use with heatmap()
Hi, I'm trying to build dendrograms to pass to heatmap(). The dendrograms I build plot properly, but when I pass them to heatmap() I get the error message "row dendrogram ordering gave index of wrong length" (see output log below). I looked in the code of heatmap() and saw that the error was due to a NULL return value from order.dendrogram(), which in turn got a NULL return value

Does 3.0.0 need krb5-1.3.1
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Does samba 3.0.0 need krb5-1.3.1? Redhat 7.3 comes with krb5-1.2.4 I seem to remember seeing somethings on the list about samba ADS support not working right with krb5 < 1.3.1 I really don't want to have to install 1.3.1 on my system, as it looks like it'll be rpm dependecy hell.... - -Tom Dickson -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version:

Release date for Samba 3.0.1?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Is there a tentative release date for 3.0.1 yet? I'd like to go live with an official release as opposed to hand patching all the little fixes I've seen on the mailing list (i.e., sorry about that; here's a patch, will be in 3.0.1). PATCH to Samba 3.0.0 to allow interactive --set-auth-user for wbinfo
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 This patch is against samba-3.0.0beta3 (tested), but will also apply correctly to 3.0.0 (release) It makes wbinfo ask for a password if there is no password on the command line. So: wbinfo --set-auth-user=Administrator Will make it prompt Password: This is to make it easier to script wbinfo for nas appliances using expect to allow passwords with

NetBench testing of Samba machines
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I'm running some netbench tests, and I have some questions I'd like to ask. First, what is the difference between the dm.tst and ent_dm.tst NetBench suites? Second, what results have people been getting with Samba 3.0.0? I'm seeing a peak at 340.00 for ent_dm.tst and 101.00 for dm.tst on a P4 system with 512 MB RAM. Any information

hessian in constrained optimization (constrOptim)
Dear helpers, I am using the function "constrOptim" to estimate a model with ML with an inequality constraint using the option method='Nelder-Mead'. When I specify the option: hessian = TRUE I obtain the response: Error in f(theta, ...) : unused argument(s) (hessian = TRUE) I guess the function "constrOptim" does not allow this argument which, on the other hand, is

Multiple ssl certificates
Hello, I wonder if there is some possibility to force dovecot to use more than one ssl certificate. I would like to use a few certficates: one per IP We are hosting many different domains and I had to use stunnel to ensure encrypted connection for our clients using different certificates. But stunnel isn't a good solution and sometimes I need to restart stunnels because of some of it's

Eicon Diva PCI 2.02 (not server)
Hi. I've been trying out Asterisk and it looks good. I've have got the VoiP stuff working with some softphones and I'm very impressed. My next step was to interface it with my phone system here to try it out that way. I have an Eicon Diva PCI 2.02 (not server) lying around which I have put into my asterisk box and I've tried to configure it but I've had no luck so far.

constrOptim converging not to the optimal values
Dear helpers, I am using constrOptim to minimize a function subject to inequality constraint. It works well when the number of parameters to optimize is low (e.g. 4) but when they are more (e.g. 10) it does not produce the expected results. The function is minus the determinant of a binomial logit model with one explanatory variable. Calling ?xeta? the vector of explanatory variables the

problems with exporting a chart
Dear R helpers, I have a problem with exporting a chart (to any format). The graphic device becomes inactive and I get the 'Error: invalid graphics state' error message. I searched the help, web and FAQ but couldn't find the solution. This is my code: I chart a histogram for differences in R2 by sample size (an extract from the data is below). Altogether I have n=2500 observations

Macro expansion in valid users = line?
Hello, Is it possible to put %U or %S in the valid users line? I'm trying: valid users = %D+%U for a certain homedir setup (automagically creates if non-existent), but the level 10 logs show that it always tries: checking |MIXEDDOMAIN+dl| against |%D+%U|, and does not expand the macro. This is with Samba-3.0.0rc2 (happens with beta3 also.) Same thing happens with %U or %S. It worked in

Shorewall Setup.
Hello Tom and others on the list. Tom - you might recall that the other day (night) I had problems with my axip setup (protocol 93) and we made some changes to the policy, zones and interfaces files. You added ''peers and tunl+'' Following that change nothing seemed to work. In fact you wanted to see the shorewall status file, among other things. Well - tonight, I carefully put
