[LLVMdev] Building pass out of source with cmake: undefined symbol error
Hmmm, I just thought of something. Perhaps I need to set the MODULE cmake flag (via -DMODULE=ON)? I will try this today. (I remembered the LOADABLE_MODULE=1 flag in the makefile, and the if ( MODULE ) check in the AddLLVM cmake module.)

[LLVMdev] Building pass out of source with cmake: undefined symbol error
Ah! Think I figured it out -- it's rtti. When I build with -fno-rtti, the spurious symbol disappears. Blargh, that was complicated. I'm going to try an out-of-source cmake build now. So far this has been a soliloquy, hope it helps someone else.

[LLVMdev] Building pass out of source with cmake: undefined symbol error
Still no go. I'm going to experiment building out of source manually with the cmake build and autotools build. I should've mentioned that I'm attempting this with the hello world pass example.

Convert string to time
One variable contains values (1.30 - one hour and thirty minutes, 1.2
(which is supposed to be 1.20 - one hour and twenty minutes)). I would
like to convert to a minute variable so 1.2 is converted to 80
minutes. How?

Problems with DOS printing from W2K on Samba
I have setup a W2K client that uses a SuSE8.0 samba 2.2.5 server on the network.
Samba is setup to use CUPS and as long as I print from W2K itself, there is no problems
at all. It I try to copy a text file to a printer on the Samba server e.i. cp file \\lserver1\HP4000T
nothing comes out of the printer and the following error message is written to

Localhost traffic and ipfw rules
I seem to be stumped on this one. I have TCP packets destined to my external interface from 127.0.0.1 (Ack+Reset zero data) with source MAC of my default gateway and I can't seem to block this traffic.
Snort picked up the traffic and I have confirmed with tcpdump. So I decided I needed to examine my anti-spoof rules. I already had this one

Supermicro AOC-SAT2-MV8 and 1TB Seagate Barracuda ES.2
Hi all,
I''m getting a very strange problem with a recent OpenSolaris b134 install.
System is:
Supermicro X5DP8-G2 BIOS 1.6a
2x Supermicro AOC-SAT2-MV8 1.0b
11 Seagate Barracuda 1TB ES.2 ST31000340NS drives
If I have any of the 11 1TB Seagate drives plugged into the controller,
the AOC-SAT2-MV8 BIOS appears to detect them just fine, but I get the
following problems:

How is the Samba people stress testing Samba.
Over the years I have seen a number of strange integrity problems when using Samba servers, and
I sometime wonder how Samba is stress tested.
As long as a Samba server is used as a normal file server, we very seldom se any problems, but if
heavily used, flat file databases are used, some versions of Samba are more stable then others.
Even with oplocks disabled and strict locking enabled, we could

Beta-announcement - xenConsole for your Xen
Hello all,
I''ve been running Xen 2.0x for some few months and have written a
simple top(1)-like tool - xenConsole - which continously displays all
running domains, along with their CPU-consumption, load averages,
percentual CPU-/memory-usage, domain uptimes and so forth.
A screenshot probably explains it better than me:

Problems connecting to remote mysql db
Hi,
I am having a problem connecting to a remote mysql db and I can''t
figure out what the problem is. When I try to connect I get the error:
getaddrinfo: no address associated with hostname.
I have looked all over for clues as to what that means but I haven''t
been able to find anything that helps. I have no problems connecting
to the database with php and with the mysql query

Help with compile on HP-UX 11.0
I'm having quite a bit of trouble with 2.2.7a and HP-UX 11.0. I've attempted
to compile (configure && make) with aCC (aCC: HP ANSI C++ B3910B A.03.13),
and gcc versions 2.95.1, and 3.2. (A few others as well, but that's not,
perhaps, relevant here.) Let's assume I'm using gcc 2.95.1. The first
configure error I see in config.log is:

Samba on HP Itanium
I've down loaded Samba from HP's web sight and installed according to
instructions. Loaded all support files and programs, but still when I
try to start Samba up the "libdld.so" file says it can't find
"libldap.so". Which is true, it is no where on the system. Although
other "linldap" files are. If I do a search for "libldap.so" I can't

defaultexpiry & maxexpiry on peer level
Hello
is it possible to determine the SIP.conf parameters 'defaultexpirty' and
'maxexpiry' on a peer basis ?
My default value is 300 seconds, but some specific SIP-clients can only
send a SIP REGISTER every 3600 seconds. In current configuration these
SIP peers now become "Unreachable" after 300 seconds.
Or is there another way to differentiate ?
Kind regards.
