Changing file permissions in Windows XP with a samba PDC
Question about changing file permissions in Windows XP when running
samba as a PDC.
If you hit Properties and go to the security tab, instead of listing
the proper group/user names it lists the full SID.
Is there a way to get Windows XP to map these to the proper user/group names?
I am using LDAP as a backend with Samba.
Thanks.

Months in alphabetical order rather than chronological order in graph
Greetings
Though I have months in chronological order in my data table, the data
were sampled every other month (i.e., February, April, June, August,
October, December), every time I try to plot them (on the x-axis) they are
plotted in alphabetical order. What am I missing?
Cheers

How to loadby by alphabetical order, not mtime
Hi,
I''m writing my requirements in rspec, however, I can not figure out a
way to execute all specs according to alphabetical order, not by last
modified time.
According to the documentation, it seems like the default is by
alphabetical order, I just can not get that to work. In the unit
tests with the rspec package, seems like only mtime was tested.
Can anyone tell me how to run specs

> sort(fileNames)

a question of alphabetical order
Hi all,
In Spanish vowels with accent like ?, ?, ... doesn't affect to the
alphabetical order of vector of strings. I mean, a or ? don't matter for
establishing the alphabetical order.
Nevertheless, while working with R order, here is what I get.
Given a file transport.txt
medio#variable
avi?n#34
barco#33
bicicleta#3

Are there kernel loadable modules in samba for linux?
If so any idea what they do? Because after I load my

Need Samba 3.0.0 help
Hello all....
I need help and I'm just about at my wits end.
First let me state that I can not give logfiles in email since the Samba
servers are on the secure side of my world and contain sensitive information.
If by my stating my problem, I am hoping that someone will point me in certain
directions that I have not tried.
We have two samba servers on our site. Both are running Samba 3.0.0.

Order of Dotplot output
I'm just learning to work with R, and am having some difficulty controlling the output of my dotplot.
The default order of the function dotchart seems to be the largest value on the bottom and the smallest on the top. I wanted it in the opposite order (which is how my data frame is currently sorted), so I used the following approach, which works
orderidx <- order(b2000$RR)

overiding concatenation of tables by alphabetical order
Hi everyone!
When doing a has_and_belongs_to_many join, with two tables, rails
expects a join table whose name is the concatenation of the two table
names in an alphabetical order.
However i have a number of tables which do not follow this convection
and wish to have rails read and recognize them.
for example i have a table called feature and another called cvterm. The
join table is however

mosaic row and column order
Dear R-helpers,
I wasn't able to find out how to override the alphabetical ordering
of the rows and columns in a vcd::mosaic plot. I would like to have
them each ordered by numerical values in a different column of the
data frame that contains the contingency data.
I would be most grateful for a pointer toward the solution.
Thanks,
MK

Order of boxes in boxplot()
Hi
Sorry for such an inane question - how do I control the order in which
the boxes are plotted using boxplot() when I pass it a formula and a
data.frame? It seems that the groups are plotted in alphabetical
order... I want to change this....
Many thanks
