matching values in arrays
One more question..
I have many collections of clients, in example
clients1 = Client.find(:all, :condtions => "id < 10")
clients2 = Client.find(:all, :conditions => "id > 5")
clients3 = Client.find(:all, :conditions => "id in (3, 5, 7, 9, 11)
So I want to find the common clients between them in a common array, I
mean, clients_array has to

RIF: Routing problem
Thanks Jose,
I found the key in the routing table of Router2; it had bad entries for the farest subnets (didn't have the 'via' commands...).
Thanks for helping me.
Now I'm gonna configure the network with IPv6 'cause I have to make it work with Mobile IPv6.
Anybody working on these funny things can mail me, so we can suffer togheter! :-)
Bye,
Mauro

Where to get working esfq hash src ip?
Hi,
It is exactly what I need except one thing. I don''t know exactly if my
router is the right place to apply QoS policy. It has two network interfaces
and both are 10Mbit/s. The slow part of the network is little bit more far.
On their QoS we have 2Mbit and I want all our users to divide this bandwidth
equally but also don''t want to unnecessarily restrain their bandwith and to

I''m looking for the best way to set up a Linux router with "tc" to limit the

samba 3.0.24 works - samba 3.0.25 fails
Folks:
I've got several systems attached to a 2003 domain where we use
kerberos to authenticate.
When I upgraded a system to the latest greatest samba things stopped
working. Just to find where it happened in the different versions of
samba I downloaded, built, & ran 3.0.23d to 3.0.25c using the same
smb.conf file. Turns out the 2.0.23d and 3.0.24 works but from 3.0.25
on it fails.

[Bridge] Newbie at work - need some advise/guidence please.
Hello all,
I am new to Linux Ethernet bridging. Let me first start with what I am
trying to achieve. Well you see - I am attempting to have 2 main
firewall running at the same time - one as a master and the other one as
a slave. Yes, I would like to make use of Ethernet bridging in this
scenario - as I understand it, all I need are two machines and STP
enabled. I am running Debian

4.0 stopped working after updating xubuntu 13.04
Hi
I got some strange issues on my samba4.0.1 install yesterday. It
happened a while after updating my xubuntu server 13.04 not 13.10.
Everything seems to be working fine except shares. Kerberos
authentication seem to function properly, also DNS works fine but shares
seem semi-broken.
I can't mount any shares on my Windows box, including netlogon,
profiles. I have one share that is

Does samba modify print queues?
I have the following situation at the hospital I work at.
we are a windows shop (not my fault), and as such use windows 2k3 file
and print servers.
Recently passing 400 printers has apparently put too much strain on our
main printserver - called ntprn (been a windows shop for a while).
Okay, so now we are going to split the load amongst two or more
printservers... ntprn1 and ntprn2. Our users

multiple isp + nat
I configured multiple isp (actually only multiple gw) according
http://lartc.org/howto/lartc.rpdb.multiple-links.html.
Now NAT (Internet) seems to work, both external interfaces work ( I
didnt configure load balancing because I dont need it). However I have
problem that I can not ping from NAT to public ip of my Linux box.
Problem is that I can not connect from 192.168.1.0/24 network to
services

mount shares from my linux box onto my windows box. But I still don't see
an icon for my linux box on the network niehborhood. I have waited and
waited and tried what seems like everything but can't get that stupid icon
to come up. Any ideas???

Input from xen hosting providers?
This is my second mail because the first one turned into a two page novel.
Basically my question is this, what is your opinion on the following,
in regards to having to know about the os and USE in your hosting
environtment. Here is my problem...
We have a sales guy that sold people on the idea of having 4 windows
clients, and 2 "filestore" servers. filestore1 backs up to filestore2

To test gluster's behavior under heavy load, I'm currently doing this on two machines sharing a common /mnt/gfs gluster mount:

smbclient suddenly getting access denied
Hi,
On Saturday I was able to run smbclient to connect to my Samba share
just fine. Nothing was rebooted and nothing was installed/updated
except for adding Python and Putty on the Windows server. The Windows
server is running Windows Server 2016 and my Samba client is running
3.6.3 (it's the latest from SLES 11 but ported to SLES 10 - long
story...).
But today when I try to connect I get:

so you can skim better in case this is too much info: the mystery:
why does command #3 work from server1 against itself, but fail for all
other clients?
