arsenal v3.0.0: An Arsenal of 'R' Functions for Large-Scale Statistical Summaries
I'm pleased to announce the release of the "arsenal" package v3.0.0 on CRAN (https://cran.r-project.org/package=arsenal)! "arsenal" has experienced some major growth in the last few months, starting with the release of v2.0.0 in January. We tried to maintain backwards compatibility wherever possible, but had to eliminate it in some places. With that said, here's the

Question, problems re: Ogg Vorbis ..
I think Ogg Vorbis is an awesome project. I just started working with beta 4 yesterday and was very impressed .. I'm going to do some listening tests today. I had a question and some problems I'm hoping people can help me out with. 1.) Is the ability coming to convert from .MP3 to Ogg Vorbis forthcoming? How would the sound quality be affected when converting from one compressed audio

netbios-ns/udp: Server failing (looping)
Hi, I've downloaded samba-2.0.7-hppa1.1-hp-hpux11.00.tar.Z and installed it on a HP K380 HP-UX 11.00 server. The high complexity mode.
Hi Jean-Marc, I'd just like to put in a vote that I wish you'd left in the high-complexity mode in CELT (with the assumption that it could be conditionally compiled out for the IETF standard codec). Adding duplicates by rows
Hi, I am trying to add duplicates of matrix "mat" by row. Commands subset(mat, duplicated(rownames(mat))) or mat[which(duplicated(rownames(mat))),] return only half of the required indices. How can I find the remaining ones, ie the matches, so that I can add them up? Thanks, Serguei ___________________________________________________________________ Austrian Institute of Economic

Mongrel with LocalDirector - static content?
Hello everyone- I am considering using Mongrel and I have read this list pretty extensively. I know that the Apache/mod_proxy_balancer/mongrel approach is the preferred one right now, with Apache serving the static content via mod_rewrite and such. However, in my hardware arsenal, I already have an old and trusty LocalDirector, which I would be inclined to at least try first as a

nmbd won't run
I am having a hard time getting samba 2.0.4b running on a Sparc20 running Solaris 2.5.1. I have swat and smbd running, but not nmbd. I have tried all the stuff in diagnostics.txt and have searched the archives but am still stuck. I have tried to gather some useful info, in the hopes that some on this list will be able to figure this out. Thanks in advance. Here are the results of some of the
