Is there such a thing as a Samba logoff script? Has anyone sucessfully compiled Samba 3 on HP-UX? I have had no luck so far. I have a rather unique setup. I would like to simply use the existing UNIX /etc/passwd file for my authentication without having an smbpasswd file existing. does anyone know how to do this?

Hello, I just found out that the binary Samba Solaris packages on samba.org were not built with AD support. Do you know any reason why? Do you know where I can find binary Samba packages supporting AD on Solaris? Also although not mentioned, I suspect the Samba package for AIX on samba.org was not built with AD support either. Everytime I add or remove some samba shares, I must restart smb service to take effect. Is there anyway to reconfig it without restart?
