Connection queue full on my directors
I finally upgraded to v1.2.16 on my backend servers, with ldap instead of
previously mysql, and put a couple of dovecot v2.0.8 directors in front
of them (used haproxy previously). It seemed to work OK initially, but
after a few hours we got bit by "Connection queue full" problems on the
directors.
So I now set default_process_limit=512 and also:

cannot join an existing AD as either a RODC or DC w/ samba4
I'm unable to have samba4 join an existing AD domain as either an RODC
(preferrable) or merely a DC.
AD domain is Win2k3, but we recently added a pair of Win2k8 DCs to it.
Domain functional level is Win2k3.
### Adding samba4 as an RODC ###
# samba-tool domain join -d5 my.domain RODC -U'adminuser at MY.DOMAIN' --server=nysv-vmdc3.my.domain

director ignoring director_mail_servers for lmtp connections
Hello,
Following Jan-Frode's advise I am trying this configuration:
{postfix} ---lmtp---> {director} ---lmtp---> {dovecot}
so I have two dovecot instances for director/proxy and lmtp delivery on ports 1024 and 24 respectively.
whilst for imap connections I can specify a pool of imap backend servers via 'director_mail_servers' it seems is not possible with lmtp.

CentOS 6 domU on Debian 6 dom0 not working
Hi all,
Has anyone managed to get CentOS 6 domU (i.e. guest) working on a Debian 6 do0?
Both OS''s are 32bit and I''m running XEN 4.0.1 with HVM support.
A CentOS 5.6 domU works fine on this very same server though.
When I start CentOS 6, I get the following error:
newusaxen:~# xm create -c /xen/genocide.cfg
Using config file "/xen/genocide.cfg".

Mounting Shares from a Windows Server 2003 DC
I know this question has been asked several times, and I appoligize for
this being as long as it is, but I'm hoping someone may have it figured
out by now. Here is the situation: I can mount a share from my Windows
XP machine (RA), and from another Windows Server 2003 machine (MAAT).
But not from my Windows Server 2003 domain controller (BASTET). I am
running Samba 3.0.0 (standard RPM

Multi-homed Samba 4 file server on Samba 4 AD domain - cross network authentication
Hi all,
I have a question about a multi-homed Samba file server and interoperability
with AD. It's a bit complicated, so please bear with me.
I've been running Samba 4.11.6 as an AD server (two DCs) for a while (in
RFC2307 mode) in a mixed Windows/Linux environment. I have a server running
Proxmox (Debian) with Samba 4.9.5 and it is sharing my huge ZFS volume via
Samba to Windows
