Samba 2.2.8, Solaris 2.5.1, NIS+
First off, we are forced to using said versions and NIS+, so no flaming on those issues please. Also, the samba version we recieved was forced upon us and we are not allowed to recompile, however in a test environment we've compiled both with and without NIS+ support and the same errors are generated. When removing nisplus from group entry of nsswitch.conf samba works fine. With nisplus

Hi, Not having seen any response to a request for help nearly a week after having submitted my plea, I'm wondering if I'm being too impatient... Anyway, Here's the request again... Thanks, I have a rather unique (at least from reading the archives) situation that has me stumped, and I'm hoping the gurus can help. Here's my problem, I have a Solaris 2.8 server running Samba

Use of "&" kills rails -- redux
I see someone else mentioned this below, but the answer was just "use &&", which isn''t what I''m looking for. I''m using acts_as_ferret in my web app, but if the user inputs certain symbols, like &, it kills his/her browser. I''m running everything locally on OS X. I had to reboot OS X because the crash was so bad. Is there a way to

Well, In my first email I asked if anyone knew how to set up a rails site for site5. I had one reply that sent me to rubyhosting.org, where it states: tutorial coming. Full-text Search Options Redux
Hey all, I haven''t heard much on the list in a while re: ActiveSearch, Ferret, Hyper Estraier, etc. in a while. Has anyone successfully used ActiveSearch on tables with rows in the order of hundreds of thousands, if not millions? (in our case, each row containing anywhere from a paragraph of text to many pages) Here''s some background on our search efforts. A. Hyper

FileColumn Redux
I installed FileColumn successfully but now find the need to get a new image size. I was wondering if there was a fast script, or method, that would run through all my products and use the existing mail file already submited and resize it according to the new specifications. Thanks! -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

TCP/UDP broken checksums redux (with UDP workaround)
Hello, A little informal input on the TCP/UDP checksum deferral/offload: it fails for me. I have one Xen host, running a snapshot of xen-unstable at 2006-03-24 (9435:11fee62328cc). Each of its domUs are allocated their own /30, with the help of a hacked-up vif script. Prior to working around the problem, Domain-0 could establish TCP connections to other domains. In the case of SSH, it would

Hi Remember this... "Maybe opus-tools relies on the fact that libopus is linked with libm" "Linking statically requires -lm, but there's no way for opus-tools to know you've done this"

[LLVMdev] doxygen redux

[LLVMdev] doxygen redux
Excellent work, this greatly improves the clarity of the generated docs. I would love it if the inheritance diagrams were kept as they are and the collaboration diagrams were hidden under a knob.
