SAMBA WIN XP Sp1
DON'T, I mean literally uninstall SP1 from your computer immediately. It's bugged very bad and causes many computers to crash. My XP completely crashed and couldn't EVEN BOOT. Thank god, my backups rescued me. Formatted it and reinstall everyting but SP1. MS forums going crazy, just take a look at it, you'll understand better what I mean. W2K Sp2 in NT4 domain and roaming profiles on samba 2.2.3a
Hello samba-insiders, we have a WinNT 4.0 SP5 PDC and our samba 2.2.3a is member of the domain. The roaming profiles of our clients stored on the samba 2.2.3a server. All seams to be perfect but only clients with W2K SP2 cannot use there roaming profiles. ---> "Access Denyed" is the W2K errro message. But if the same user loggs on on a client machine with W2K SP1 all things are ok.

I have the exact same problem. Mouse won't drag in image area, but it will drag windows and panels in Fireworks just fine. NOTEs: 1. I installed it Adobe Creative Suite. 2. Re: [edk2] [PATCH RFC v2 7/7] OvmfPkg: introduce XenMemMapInitialization
Regarding patches 5-7, it seems like the mem-map code flow could be more shared. It is a bit challenging to unravel things though. I guess the only specific thing I can really point out is that PcdPciAllowFullEnumeration should be initialized in a different patch, and not within the mem-map init path. -Jordan On Tue, Nov 19, 2013 at 12:38 PM, Wei Liu <wei.liu2@citrix.com> wrote: > This

dovecot logs to audit.log not to maillog
Hello, I have a curious phenomenon. Dovecot logs normally to /var/log/maillog. If I restart my server, dovecot loggs to /var/log/audit/audit.log. If I restart dovecot, dovecot loggs to /var/log/maillog again. And I think, wenn logrotate is restarting, dovecot logs to audit.log. But I don't know why. Any Ideas? greetings Ralf

mandatory profiles, group policies, Samba3 PDC winxp Clients
Hello all, I've been trying to figure out what the best way of doing the group policy thing is. We are running samba 3 on slackware 9 with winxp clients. We are a school. i'm unclear on how much AD is actually supported... OU GPO all that. so i decided to go the "administrative template" way (used to be .pol files) I'm thinking of having the students run off of a

Roaming profiles and case sensitivity
Hi, Yesterday I found big problems concerning my roaming profiles. They seem to work on some computers where they are always used, on some other the did not load properly (i.e. a default profile was loaded instead). After some debugging with userenv.log I found the very strange problem: case sensitivity for ntuser.dat!: [...] IsCentralProfileReachable: Testing <F:\testuser\ntuser.dat>

However, I cannot get mount -t cifs to work on either of them. Anyone have any ideas what the problem could be? Thx vperry successful commands: 1) smbstatus calserver01 2)

CentOS6.5 Samba 3.6.9 Windows8.1 login possible after 15 minutes after logoff
Hello, in school We have CentOS6.5 server with Samba3.6.9 (default from CentOS3.6.9 repository). Clients are WinXP, Win7 and Win8.1, We use roaming profiles. Everything is working perfect, except that when user logs off from Win8.1 client, he is not able to log in for about 15 minutes to any Win8.1 client at school. After 15 minutes it is possible again. I do have pretty standard smb.conf, no
