i686-mingw32-RA-on-linux buildbot
I keep running into errors on the i686-mingw32-RA-on-linux bot and was curious if someone could test a patch against the bot or something with a similar setup. I believe it should now work properly, but would like to make sure that it'll pass before possibly adding a third commit/revert cycle. If the history isn't an issue, let me know an I'll just keep trying. The differential is

HVM Networking Issues
I''ve looked long and hard for an answer to this and am stuck. I have setup a Windows XP DomU on Xen 3.2-1 running on Debian and I can connect fine to the instance via VNC but I get no networking within the windows instance as it says the IP address conflicts with another on the network. All my linux instances network fine, and I''m confused as to the issue. Can anybody provide

Vary an equation using values from a sequence
Hi All, I have a vector of data on which I am operating. The equation with which I want to operate on the vector has a value k. I want to run the equation and output a new vector, each time replacing k with each value from the sequence I defined. I have thought about using for loops and such, but this seems like overkill. I am wondering if there is a simple solution that would allow me to

Force resigning of existing certificates
Is there a way to force the puppetmaster to resign certificates for existing certificates when a new CSR for the same hostname arrives? When we reinstall freshly formatted clients with puppet (with the same hostname) the puppet client complains: err: Could not request certificate: Retrieved certificate does not match private key; please remove certificate from server and regenerate it

Destructive behavior with link_to, button_to, :post=>true
Hello- I would like to know what the suggested practice is for having multiple submit buttons on a relatively complicated input page. Let''s use the example of a Contact. There is lots of info there, including name, address, phone number. There is also a list of "contact associations" which can be modified on the same page. Ideally, the user could have one

Vary an equation using values from a sequence
I thnk what you want is ?outer. e.g.: outer(Data -min(Data),value,FUN = "+") Whether this works for your real task, however, may depend on details and complexities that you have omitted. string/character to number
I did a very quick search of the archive and couldn't find a readily available answer to this one: I'd like to convert, for example: c("a", "b", "a", "b") to c(1, -1, 1, -1) In the case of the first vector, it may be any length, but will always only have two unique values. It must always be replaced by corresponding values of 1 and -1. Any

allow_duplicate_certs = true not working?
I saw this feature became available in 2.7.0rc1 and wanted to try it out. I entered ''allow_duplicate_certs = true'' on both my master and agent systems in the puppet.conf (not sure if its need in both, saw it in genconf for puppetd and puppetmasterd though ...). I also have autosign.conf configured to allow autosigning for our domain (*.domain.com). I had my agent register with

Extracting SQL and Rebuilding from SQL?
Hello- With a database filled with several customers'' datasets, I thought it would be a nice feature of my app''s backend interface to be able to extract (and optionally delete) the data from a single customer. It would then also be nice to rebuild that data from the stored info. What''s a good way to do this efficiently? If all the ":dependent => true"
