Software RAID and ext3 problem
Hi,
I'm having a problem with ext3 on my system. I'm running 2.4.13 with the
appropiate ext3 patch and a software raid array with paritiions as shown
below:

After my previous email about the SETFEATURES SET TRANSFER MODE timeout
on (msgid 441AA807.5090100@wfeet.za.net , 17 March 14:18 GMT + 2 on
freebsd-stable), I installed FreeBSD 6.1 BETA 4 and upgraded to a
6-STABLE kernel, running the box in 'safe' mode to do so. I now,
however, get a slightly different error message:

ext3 corruption with vanilla kernel 2.4.19?
Hello
After compiling and booting a RH 8.0 box with a 2.4.19 vanilla kernel
i've started to experience some problems on my /home partition, (i/o
errors on 2 files).
After rebooting the machine failed the to mount /home and dropped me in
the recovery shell.
The fsck is still running after 9 hours.
The system is a dual athlon MP with 1Gb ram and ASUS MB.
the /home patrition is mounted on 3 120

Transition to CentOS - RAID HELP!
Hi Folks,
I've inherited an old RH7 system that I'd like to upgrade to
CentOS6.1 by means of wiping it clean and doing a fresh install.
However, the system has a software raid setup that I wish to keep
untouched as it has data on that I must keep. Or at the very least, TRY
to keep. If all else fails, then so be it and I'll just recreate the
thing. I do plan on backing up

Hi,
Updated to current bk today, and my machine stopped booting ...
I''ve tracked it down to the apic changes from end of last week.
cset 1.1307 boots fine, 1.1308 doesn''t.

Upper bands and lower bands
Hi all
I want to add a band of fluctuaci?n (exponential decreading) to a linear
deacrecing values
Imagine: I have a matrix like c(10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1)
The thing is I want two new lines so that the m?ximum value of the new
colum on the m?ximum is from 10% to 5% higher and the same lower for the
m?nimum
the final two matix will be something like
c(10+0.10*10,9+0.089*9,8+0.075*8.....,1+0.05*1)

The following makes 'x86info -r' dump hypervisor leaf cpu ids
(for kvm this is signature+features) when running in a vm.
On the guest we see the signature and the features:

SETFEATURES SET TRANSFER MODE semaphore timeout on FreeBSD 6.0 RELEASE
Hi
I have a newly installed FreeBSD 6.0 release machine on which I am
getting the following error on the console:
"ad4: req=0xc23bc258 SETFEATURES SET TRANSFER MODE semaphore timeout !!
DANGER Will Robinson !!"
This is generally associated with heightened disk activity, but it
happens inevitably after a while (minutes or hours) if the machine is
running.

The virtio modules do not advertise themselves as GPL but rely on exported
