similar to: AW: how i install samba!!

Greetings! I'm trying to build Samba3.0beta. I'm running HP-UX 11.11 I'm using GCC 3.2.3 I ran the configure script. Then I ran Make. It crap's out pretty much immediately. I'm having a problem with my XP & 2000 pc's, with printers. During the initial installation and configuration of these machines, everything is fine. But any printer added to the network AFTER the initial config of the winXP & win2000 pc's, isn't available to these machines. So... if I add any printers to my network, I can't use them with my winXP or win2000

this is my smb.conf, as i failed before , the machine add script works on the fly, but the machine account which is right in the smbpasswd, does not login after required reboot win2k serv3 to domain, with failure message local computer account is not trusted My plan is to make samba easier administrate with usmgr, machine creation on the fly. However, nmblookup can only find IPs by SMB-names, but not SMB-names by IPs. Hi, I am running a Samba 2.2.7a on Redhat 7.3 in a NT domain. For authentication I am using the domainusers.This is done by Winbind 2.2.7a which verifies the existens of the users on the PDC. So I dont't have to create local users (/etc/passwd) for users who want to connect to the shares in the smb.conf. I authorise them by adding valid users = domain+domainuser to the smb.conf.
