I am a new Samba user - I just installed on Solaris 8 and (finally) got smbd and nmbd running. Now how do you create a user in Samba? The documentation provides tons of information about smbadduser and smbpasswd except *how to use it.* Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm having some trouble adding machine names to Samba. I've added a user under linux for the machines that I need and they have a $ entry at the end of them. I've also added a user entry for each computer with smbadduser, all to no avail. Does anyone out there know of a good source of reference material on this subject? Thanks, James
