SAMBA and Multiple NT or A/D domains...
To whom it may concern, I've been investigating a problem configuring SAMBA 2.0.7 on Solaris servers properly. My basic questions boil down to: * Does 2.0.7 support authentication against *multiple* domain controllers? In the Server.conf file we see line items: [global] netbios name = SAMBA workgroup = NT_DOMAIN password server = NT_PDC, NT_BDC_1, NT_BDC_2 security

NT PDC problems...
Hello everyone. I've got Samba version 2.2.2 running on Sparc Solaris 8 installed the sunfreeware.com package. I've configured the machine to be a PDC for a small windows NT 4 domain. My smb.conf file is below. When logging on from a workstation sometimes the login works fine, but most times I get an error saying the domain controller can't be found. When that happens I also get

You're right about the univariate numeric operators. My bad. However, I was expecting !x to return a time series, just like the binary logical operators do. For example: > b <-

Hi All, Can somebody help me set this up. I'm trying to set up a public folder on my SAMBA server which will let my users create their own folders to store their files. And not let everyone delete them. Following are the problems I'm having: 1) If I set the directory rights to 755 on /exports and share the /exports/public directory with ~/public set to 755 Users can't create

Activate DVI-I behind KVM on FX 5200
Hi, > > Try your luck here > http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/dri-devel The major problem is that there is no way to tell the nouveau kernel module to enforce a specific output. There is a video=XXX kernel parameter, but this only applies to the VGA framebuffer but not to the nouveau framebuffer. > BTW what is actual KVM switch device, vendor/product? This is an

installation instructions?
Hello Samba Folks, I have downloaded the file samba-2.2.2-hppa1.1-hp-hpux11.00.tar.gz from your website, and have uncompressed and untarred it into the /opt directory of my hp 11.0 machine (as specified in the README) file. Unfortuantely, I find no directions on how to install it. I have looked at the following link: http://de.samba.org/samba/ftp/docs/htmldocs/UNIX_INSTALL.html but the

Prefer -u not to change newer files.

In other words, if the source has a directory or a symlink where the destination has a file, the transfer would occur

Help in gam() in MGCV
Hello, We have a question about how to retrieve the nonparametric curve in gam() function. Now, we get the estimates and draw the fitted curve using the following code. You can see that our fitted curve is parallel to the output from gam() function but differs by a constant shift. However, the magnitude of the shift is not the intercept term. Also, gam's estimate appears more close to the
