Measurements of 3000 criminals
Hallo everyone, excuse me if this is not a genuine R question but I do not know where to ask else. Referring to e.g. https://stat.ethz.ch/pipermail/r-help/2004-December/062114.html I wonder if these measurements of 3000 criminals (raw data) are available anywhere. At least I didn't find them in the R datasets package or by means of Google. What I did find was a table of frequencies of

Do I need a xenU initrd image?
Hi, I just created a Xen domU using http to install over the network. How do I now restart the domU and use the installed OS? I gather I need a initrd image to boot my guest. I''ve found bits and pieces of answers to my question referring to mkinitrd, but none seem to work. I am running Scientific Linux 5. Thanks in advance, Cam _______________________________________________

Multiple spelling suggestions
Hello, I am looking at the Xapian database spelling support, with the idea of getting rid of the cumbersome use of aspell in my application. One advantage of aspell, though, (in my eye), is that it can supply a list of alternate spellings, not just the one it considers best. In some cases, this can be useful. 2 examples on my test index: porbability: xapian suggests portability, which is nice,

IAX Won't Pass Caller ID
Hi, We have to servers set up in two different networks. We are able to connect calls via IAX and they work perfectly. We do not see caller ID from clients on either side. Our Grandstream phones say Eri and our XTen phones say Asterisk. We did a debug and I am pasting the output from both servers below. We tried setCallerId in several different ways. We see the value get passed to the

setting callerid not working if no callerid on incoming number
If we get an incoming call I can edit the callerID provided to add the leading '90' and set the name so that sales calls can be identified according to the number called. If however the callerID is unavailable then setting the callerID name or number fails (it shows as unavailable on the phone). This is the call log from such an incoming call without callerID. == Spawn extension (voip,

routing thru tinc
Hi, I setup tinc on two hosts with IP 192.168.200.102 on the first and IP 192.168.200.101 on the second. And it works. Now I would like to route packets thru 192.168.200.101 from 192.168.200.102 by adding the following route: ip route add 10.10.70.0/24 via 192.168.200.101 dev TINCDEVICE However, when I ping 10.10.70.254 from 192.168.200.102, I see the packet being sent to TINCDEVICE (tcmpdump)

[LLVMdev] Creating a tablegen backend
Hello. I would like to create a new backend for tablegen that produces code in an generic assembly language (not for a real processor). The documentation page for this says "ToDo", but I think what I want to do is something similar to CodeGenDAGPatterns::ParseInstructions() in CodeGenDAGPatterns.cpp. Is this even vaguely correct? Any pointers would be appreciated. I'm

[LLVMdev] Creating a tablegen backend
>  Why not use LLVM-IR as your 'generic assembly'? I should have been more specific about my goals.  I want to read a (x86) binary, and output code in this other language.  I do not have access to the source.  The target language might be negotiable, but for the moment is fixed at what it is.  My big hope is that I can leverage the semantics that are stored in the X86*.td files,

TDM400P strangeness
Hi List, I have a test asterisk box with a TDM400P with 4 FXO modules plugged in. Yesterday I could use the box without any issues - no problems. This morning, the sound on the box was absolutely horrible. After some fiddling about, I have rebooted the box, and now asterisk refuses to start! Here's the message I get: Jun 9 10:45:53 WARNING[3297]: chan_zap.c:769 zt_open: Unable to

Mysql Server has gone away?
First off, amazing plugin! Being a rails noob, it helped me do some stuff I would''ve thought way over my head. Which brings me to my problem. :) I''m using backgroundrb to handle some processes that take so long that I don''t want them tied to a page refresh (several xml-rpc calls and saving data in text files on the server). I got it working with backgroundrb fairly
