Hello, I have a xen server (xen-3.0-x86_32p hvm-3.0-x86_32 hvm-3.0-x86_32p / kernel 2.6.24-28-xen). I have some domUs, one of them is a fli4l router, the others are eisfair domUs (fileserver, webserver and mailserver). All of the domUs are connected via vif network interface with a bridge in dom0. There is a problem invoking following command in every domU: openssl s_client -connect

Making Syslinux boot with missing keyboard, but not disabled keyboard.
Hello together, first thanks a lot for your work. It's quite useful on some projects. I encouraged myself to ask you a question: Think I've seen Syslinux booting fli4l on Systems without keyboard, where "keyboard option" has been set to "not installed" in the Bios. There are lot of boards around, e.g. with award bios like those 486 UMC based on UMC 8881/8886, without

Samba Printing + LPRng Issues
Hello, I've got a domain setup working (more or less) with shares and accounts as they should be. However, I've come across two problems (so far). When I click on the 'lp' share which is the printer, I get an 'Access Denied' error. However, when I send a print job -- it prints properly. Please note, there's the Samba server is connecting to a local LPRng

HTML Widget
Hi, I''m pretty new to WxRuby, but I think it is the ideal solution to write Ruby-applications for different platforms. I missed the wxHtmlWindow in WxRuby, so I added it myself. You can grab the new files from http://portfolio16.de/tmp/wxruby-html.tar.gz. This archive contains all files I added to the wxruby-directory. These are mostly the *.t files for the missing classes and some

UPDATE: syncing unix passwords
I have some new information concerning this issue. I am now able to change both the samba and unix passwords as anyone but root. If I try as root I only am able to change the samba password but not the unix password. I can do this at the unix prompt as well as in swat. So it works but why root can't change both of them makes no sense to me. root can't even change both for root,

2.2.5, xp and incorrect logon drive as root
Hi @all, I set up 2.2.5 as PDC. With an XP-Client and log on as an simular user as root (I'm mapping "Administrator" to root in /etc/user.map) the logon home directory is the share "root". What is the reason for that? Is "root" a not usable name for a share? configure-options: ./configure \ --host=i486-pc-linux-gnu \ --target=i486-pc-linux-gnu \ --prefix=/usr \

Installing 2.0.10a patch
Basic question, but where is the readme or documentation on how to apply the samba patches? - I've always installed the complete versions.... But now I need to stay at 2.0.10, and need to apply the 2.0.10a patch. Could someone point me at a help file or give the command I need to run? Thanks.

reshape
Hello, helpeRs, I am attempting to reshape (either base R or package reshape) multiple .csv spreadsheets from a very unfortunate wide format to long format. ?Each spreadsheet looks something like this, after being read in to R: toy <- data.frame(year = rep(2007:2008,each = 20), month = rep(1:5,each = 4, length = 40), day = rep(1:2,each = 2,length = 40), hhmm = rep(1100:1101,length = 40),

Help with adding minutes to time
Dear R Helpers, I need to read time from a .csv file which is formated as chartime (09:12:00) below. I need to add one minute (cf chartime2). Then I need to output the value just as 09:13 without the seconds for writing a csv file and input in another program. I get it with the following reproducible example but I can't help thinking that there must a less clumsy way to do that ! Thanks

Using format to add leading zeroes
I have a numerical vector which contains a (poorly) formatted time column, which, in theory, should be HHMM, but was distributed as an integer, so, for 12:15 am, it is saved as "15" (e.g. HHMM = 0015 with the zeroes stripped). I'm trying to use this in conjunction with strptime, but I'm thinking because each time is an integer ranging from 1 to 4 digits, I probably need to

floppy disk emulation boot regression
I am in the process of trying to update a bootable Linux CD that I initally built some time ago using RedHat 7.3 and syslinux 1.x (I believe that x = 52, but this doesn't seem to be relevant). In order to do this, I first built a floppy disk image and made it bootable by running "syslinux -s" on the image; then I incorporated this image into a CD using "mkisofs -b boot.img -c

Some patches.
Hi, in my path of getting the controls sample to work nicely, I fixed some classes on the way, see the attached diffs. I had some difficulties, but could track down all stupid bugs and am now almost happy with the code :) (I had the complete ImageHandler hieracy implemented at some time, but than I discovered the error was not in unloaded ImageHandlers but in the controls-program which does not

Fix for rubygems-less systems
Hi, here is just a quick fix for systems without rubygems. As an alternative, one could define the method in the LoadError exception handler of the rakepackage-require at the beginning of the file, but I like this solution better. 'max_four_gig' parameter to normalize to 4GB
Hi, at first sorry for my bad english... I'm working on a little samba package for a routing projekt: www.fli4l.de This is a router, which runs from a single floppy. For easier use of printing functions for Win-Clients and for simple shares my package comes with Samba, with an very old version (1.9.18p10). I need this old version because she is very small and fits on the floppy. New
