Fwd: RE: Outlook.pst corrupt (Rashkae)
My problem is not the the restore or re-creataion of outlook.pst but is to
understand why outlook.pst is corrupted when I open OUTLOOK-2000 or 98 ecc.
I have this problem only when I use samba (2.2.5) on HP-UX 11.
In other company I have server linux (RH 7.3) with samba and 20 PC

Changed PDC IP, all hell broke lose
I had to move my RedHat 5 box acting as a PDC to a new IP address. It is
running samba 3.5.10. After the move, none of my windows or linux samba
clients worked anymore. I tried rejoining some to the domain, but would
get error
Unable to find a suitable server
Join to domain 'MRIRESEARCH' is not valid
The old PDC IP address is 132.183.202.95 and nothing is at that IP anymore

Locking Problems with Samba 2.2.7
I have a new Dell server running Red Hat 8.0 Linux. I just downloaded
and installed Samba 2.2.7 from the Red Hat Web site. I am having trouble
with Microsoft Access 2000 data base locking. The program runs in a
runtime version (.mde)on each client. Only the database(.mdb), the
permissions file(.mdw) and the lock file (.ldb) are resident on the
server running Samba. Each computer can individually

SAMBA and Microsoft Access
I'm trying to use Access 2002 on a Samba server.....question, are there
special Samba parameters that need to be set so that 3-5 users can enter
data? All users have proper access (no pun intended) to the SAMBA
server.....
thanks

smbd daemon uses all filedescriptors
We are running samba on a number of HP systems running HP/UX 11.00.
We moved from samba version 2.0.7. to samba version 2.2.3a.
We have about 200-400 smbd's running on one host.
Samba version 2.2.3a was running without any problems for about two weeks.
But now on two different servers indepent of each other, the file table
was full.
We found out that ONE smbd used about 5000 !!

Fwd: RE: Newbie Configuration of 2.2.3a on HP-UX 11.0
It's good choice if You first upload Your version of samba with new version
http://www.hp.com/products1/unix/operating/hpuxcifs9000/
(Cifs is SAMBA for HP-UX).
I use this samba configuration and I have no problem:
I suggest You to change security option in
security = USER
this is better and more secure.Security=share is option for old samba !
You must create unix users , samba users and

Strange Problem with Access
I would like to pose the following problem to this mailing list to see if
any of you have any suggestions you may offer.
I am running samba on a RedHat 7.2 Athalon box with software RAID 0 dual
IDE disks on an ext3 filesystem.
I have several users in a large community of users that are always hitting
the samba server. The machine has been consistently reliable with one
exception. There is

MS Access and Samba
Hi,
we still have some trouble running a MS Access-database on Samba. We now
tried it with v.2.2.6 on RH 7.3 but still we either get no acces on the
database simultanously or we run in problems with updating the database.
The problem is that we make some changes on one of the clients but the
changes are not visible to the other clients until they shut down the
database and reopen it. We

does --files-from transfer files in the order given?
There are one or two open bug reports in the Debian bug tracking system
that boil down to being able to specify the order files are trasferred.
One example where this is useful is to first transfer the packages, then
the list of packages. That means that the available list of packages is
always consistent, without any packages listed being temporarily
unavailable.
I'm sure Wayne knows this

strange behaviour when using (conflicting) options -q --progress
-q seems to override -v completely, but when combined with --progress,
a single newline is output when there are no updates transferred; but if
a file *was* updated nothing at all is output.
It seems that there might be some short-circuited code when nothing is
trasferred, but that a check for quiet mode is skipped somehow.

[LLVMdev] LLVM command options in Visual Studio
Thank you for your kind explanation.
I did it as you mentioned.
That is, I set '-march=x86 hello.bc' in the Command Arguments.
(I also set my compiled LLC, i.e., LLVM_ROOT_DIR\win32\debug\llc.exe, in the property name Command.)
But, when I made a breakpoint in main( ) of llc.cpp and then started to debug I found the 'InputFilename'(llc.cpp:176) is shown like {???}. Therefore it
