BUG?? - Samba 2.2.8a Number of Users in a Group Maxproblem (2.2.7a works, however)
Mr. Carter, I just tried the most current CVS head and IT DOES NOT FIX the problem. Can you guys look into this? Like I stated earlier, 2.2.7a works perfectly but I need to upgrade samba for security fixes, etc.. Thanks. Michael D. Bug#705124: downgrading, we would like to upgrade our developers to Testing. However, this bug prevents us from doing so, and would prevent us from migrating to 7.0 when it becomes released. Pretty critical to the system's stability.

1.1.28 uploaded for Ubuntu, however libgsm (ventrillo) support broken on 64 bit
I've uploaded my 1.1.28 packages for Ubuntu (9.04 is already built, 8.10 and 8.04 are still building as I write this). One of the fixes in this package is to build with support for libgsm, a new feature in Wine that allows Ventrillo support. However, this will only work on 32-bit Ubuntu at this time, as there is no 32 bit version of this library available on Ubuntu 64. I've already

200 OK however still rinnging
Hello Everyone, We are seeing many instances where we receive 200OK from the vendors however, asterisk still keeps ringing. Is there anyway to stop this from happening? I remember reading something about early media however this seems to be a case of late media? Kind Regards, Nick from Toronto. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

AEC - Echo is cancelled however.....
Well, AFAIK AEC engine needs time to adapt. So probably that's why at the beginning of the conversation you hear the consequences of this adaptation. Btw, what sound system do you have? I mean laptop or arbitrary acoustic system? I'd like to know, cause I couldn't get enough echo cancellation with speex in my environment with standalone speakers AT ALL. -----Original Message-----

AEC - Echo is cancelled however.....
Marco, Thank you for your response. Is there a way I can determine if the synchronization is perfect or not? If not by how much it is off. - Elston -----Original Message----- From: Marco Pierleoni [mailto:pierleoni.m at gmail.com] Sent: Monday, May 10, 2010 3:46 PM To: Elston Sa Subject: Re: [Speex-dev] AEC - Echo is cancelled however..... Is there an API in speex or have you implemented your own? I am currently trying to find one. But if you could point me to one it will reduce my search time. :) Many Thanks, Elston -----Original Message----- From: Marco Pierleoni [mailto:pierleoni.m at gmail.com] Sent: Tuesday, May 11, 2010 5:55 PM To: Elston Sa Cc: speex-dev at xiph.org Subject: Re: [Speex-dev] AEC - Echo is cancelled

AEC - Echo is cancelled however.....
Yes. I guessed that too, however I am not sure why it keeps repeating every time the user stops / pauses and starts speaking again in a single session. I am using a laptop with standalone speakers. For echo cancellation to work one has to make sure that the ref and echo buffers are synchronized. I guess this is the most common problem. -Elston -----Original Message----- From: Anton A.

AEC - Echo is cancelled however.....
I tried cross-correlation. It does locate the sync point and it's almost perfect. I guess now I have to make it more perfect. Thanks for the pointers. On the side note: I have a test environment. Where I created the stream such a way that I have one "captured stream" purely with echo (i.e. no one else is speaking) and one stream with echo + someone speaking. I confirmed that I

There is a test for AEC which does something very similar. I implemented it starting from a FFT library. It is quite easy to do. > > I am currently trying to find one. Why does ActiveRecord allow perception of success when updating an ID, however it doesn't really work(i.e. no change in database)?
Hi, Why does ActiveRecord allow perception of success when updating an ID, however it doesn''t really work(i.e. no change in database)? Here''s an example. The update of "id" versus update of a non-existent attribute. ?> ai = AccountItem.find(:first) => #<AccountItem id: 1, account_id: 1, date: "2009-01-11", amount:

I usually use the cross-correlation between the speaker signal and the mic signal. It works pretty well. The problem is the you need enough data in order to get a good S/N. I compute the cross-correlation between 1.5 second data of each signals. In this way the application detection of any anomalies is quite slow. I am looking for something faster, but I fear it will be something very application

AEC - Echo is cancelled however.....
1) Everytime a participant speaks there is a echo for a short duration (maybe a word or two) but as the participant continues to speak without a any break the echo is 95% cancelled (i.e there is a feeble echo still present if observed very carefully). 2) The moment the participant stops / pauses speaking and start talking again, scenario 1 is repeated as if the echo state has been re-initialized
