Printing on a Window Client from AIX
Hi all... First, thank you to Matt Chapman for pointing out why I could not connect to a non-domain participating machine. I needed to have a local account on that machine (it wasn't checking back with the domain controllers as I thought it would). NT Password did not match ! Defaulting to Lanman
We recently upgraded one of our AIX servers (AIX 4.3.3 on new hardware), on which we share documents via a SAMBA share, the samba version is at 2.0.6. Since that upgrade I have been getting calls from clients on multiple subnets having difficulty connecting, slow download/upload speeds, and getting their Microsoft domain accounts locked up. Password problem ..... can't share files ..
My purpose to have a samba server is to share files across UNIX and NT servers. I want to be able to mount NT directories/files over to UNIX system and vice versa. Rsync: Directories become Symbolic Links
Hi all, I have rsync'ed directory /rootdir/dirdir/ from Server1 to Server2, using cmd on Server2 "rsync Server1:/rootdir/dirdir -avz /rootdir/dirdir".
