Behaviour that I don't understand
I am trying to set up rsync as a daemon under WindowsXP (professional) in
order to be able to backup this machine on to a linux server. I am
struggling with an issue I don't understand. I don't know whether it is an
Rsync issue or a Cygwin issue, so I am asking both mailing lists.
My WindowsXP machine has ip address 192.168.0.25 and name rabbit.home
My Linux machine has ip address

Some problems with Sweave
Dear R users,
I'm working in a brief R-tutorial to a group of students. To make that I'm
using Sweave but I've got two problems:
First, I want show how R operates with the matrix type but, I write in the
.rnw document the code
<<echo=T,results=tex>>=
matriz <- matrix(vector,nrow=3,ncol=6)

[LLVMdev] floor
I'm getting some problems because it seems that the compiler is treating
"floor" differently from other math library functions like "sin".
The Args and RetVal have the parameter and return types marked as void.
For mips16, it's important that I be able to know the original signature
for floating point functions.
In some cases, need to create calls to helper

Voicemail() application returning -1 on a hangup
Hi,
I am trying to insert a system() call right after the call to Voicemail() in
order to notify people that they have received new voicemail. (In case you are
interested, I was following the tips here, but I have had to change a few
things:
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+tips+callback ).
My setup works when someone leaving a message hits # to exit the voicemail
after speaking, or

[LLVMdev] floor
Here is a test case:
extern double floor(double);
extern double floor_(double);
double x = 1.5;
double y, y_;
void foo() {
double y = floor(x);
double y_ = floor_(x);
}
If I compile this for Mips16, it calls the proper helper function for
floor_ but not for floor, because the signature for floor in callee info
is wrong. Args[0] = void RetTy = void

Understanding the dial flags
I am trying to make a system where a conference user can invite others
to join. I am running the 1.2 version of asterisk, so can't use the
example on voip-info.org.
With use of the X flag on a meetme conference to exit with a single
digit, I can get people to join me in a conference with
exten =>
_XXX,1,Dial(${THEIR_EXTEN},,dG(conference-context^${CALLERID}^1))

mget timeout
hello
I am trying to download a large file (9 Go) with smbclient on a linux
machine from a NAS. Apparently, smbclient mget has a timeout that prevents
me to download this large file.
smbget is a possible solution.
Also I'm doing this over an ssh tunnel. So I need to proxify smbget. Yet I
cannot specify another port than 445 on smbget.
I am stuck.
can anyone help me?
thanks
