Trying to compile Samba 2.2.8a on Solaris 10. Changing Samba versions is not an option. Too many production systems hanging off that PDC. After discovering a bug in the SuSE Samba binary (2.2.7a and 2.2.8a) which prevents some older DOS programs from creating files on a Samba share, I downloaded and built Samba 2.2.8a from the sources.
