[PATCH 04/28] net/au1000-eth: stop using DMA_ATTR_NON_CONSISTENT
The au1000-eth driver contains none of the manual cache synchronization
required for using DMA_ATTR_NON_CONSISTENT. From what I can tell it
can be used on both dma coherent and non-coherent DMA platforms, but
I suspect it has been buggy on the non-coherent platforms all along.

Lots of NMBD zombie processes
Hello,
I am running a Samba 4 DC, recently upgraded to the latest version and I
have just installed a member server to run as a File Server (Samba 4.1.9).
While it seems to be working properly, we are getting a lot of zombie nmbd
processes on the member server, running the command *pidof nmbd* results in:
*[root at BHFS01 etc]# pidof nmbd*
*12861 12644 12404 12236 12071 11885 11720 11553 11388

S4 methods for rbind()
Hello.
I am trying to write an S4 method for rbind(). I have a class of objects
called 'mdm', and I want to be able to rbind() them to one another.
I do not want the method for rbind() to coerce anything to an mdm object.
I want rbind(x1,x2,x1,x2) to work as expected [ie rbind() should take any
number of arguments].
This is what I have so far:
setGeneric(".rbind_pair",

S4 and head() problems
Hi
I am having difficulty defining an S4 method for head() and tail().
I can't quite provide minimal self-contained code
because the problem appears to require the whole corpus
of my package; and there also appears to be a difference
between sourcing the lines directly, and having them
installed in a package.
The lines in question (I think) are:
setClass("mdm",

Maildirmake equiv?
Since I am using dovecot I do not have courier installed, but Courier had a very handy tool for making maildir folders called `maildirmake` which I used in some automated backup scripts. How do I duplicate maildirmake in dovecot?
for example:
#!/bin/bash
# v1.2a Testing for new dovecot install
# Archive mail from folders without [0-9]{4} Maildirs
# after they are 21 days old to a yearly folder

Raid1 degraded mode
I am trying to understand how btrfs works with Raid1.
Is it possible to create the filesystem with -m raid1 -d raid1 in which
there is only one device available when the filesystem is created. Is
it possible to refer to a second device as "missing"
The use case I am thinking of is converting an existing raid1 setup from
mdm + lvm + ext4 to btrfs with raid1 and subvolumes.
I would

few idea about dealing with "Large Roaming Profiles"
Well,
I put it here. All the experience gained in about-half-an-year-management
of Samba-PDC + numerous NT4 workstations is included. Also, I'd be glad to
hear from you what did I miss!
1) when NT4-workstations are organised into "domain", there's some
action assosiated to this: "to log into domain".
samba ain such case acts as PDC (primary domain controller),

Samba4 AD DNS -- AD Subdomain vs Clients accessing on different subdomain
Hello,
We have an issue we’ve been struggling with for quite some time since we rolled out 10 Samba4 domain controllers at our main office and all remote sites about 3 years ago.
Simplified Current Configuration:
2 DCs at main site with internal DNS using subdomain ad.companyname.com
2 BIND CentOS servers serving all intranet DNS requests — main zone: companyname.com
2 BIND CentOS servers

Problem with Java 6
I think with WINE 0.9.11 is still all ok.
But since some releases there existing a additional problem, when running
Java 6 for Windows on WINE.
If you run a Swing program, then WINE makes the complete screen black and
lets only the Swing window part visible. Thats a buh, which before not
exists.
And the old bug - which exists all the time - is, that if you move a Java 6
window, then the

optimizations done for this CPU architecture. Whether it is in-line assembly
or assembly optimization of function (Eg: celt_pitch_xcorr_arm.s), or using
intrinsics, it is still some optimizations.
So, I don't understand your perspective. I really thought about this
