I am trying to get my latest installation of Centos (4.4) to see videos when I am in www.cnn.com. I installed mplayer using yum and that went well. But I still get the screen from microsoft saying I need to install their plugin.. What more can I do to get these videos to work when I use either mozilla or konqueror.. Thanks..

Just wondering something here. I am running RH8.0 and have the latest Samba release from RH networks. I just got finished updating things with their files (all four of them) and now the daemon 'nmbd' will start but not continue to run. I can still access the network without it though, so not sure the relevance of this daemon.. Any thoughts on why this is happening and what does

I ignore the parameters of this exponential and what I would like is to ask R to calculate the best fitting curve an the associated parameters (as the linear model function (lm) does for linear models). I have two networked pcs. pc 1- RH8.0 which came with Samba-backend 1.0.8 and Samba 2.2.5 pc 2- XP Home I am able to access the shared folders from pc2 on pc1. However from pc2 I can not even see the ressources of pc1. In My Network Places/Entire Network/Microsoft Windows Network/"My Workgroup" I can see "pc1" but when I click on it I get an error message: \\"pc1"
