Since I am using Solaris 8, and "nsswitch.conf" doesn't support winbindd, I am using the "add user script" parameter to add users. What is happening is that users in

Files missing (not hidden)
Hi there, I have a samba install on centos 5 with the latest version of samba (samba-3.0.33-3.28). There were two files that just disappeared. The users description is as below: I had worked on them ? both were excel files that linked to each other. I saved it as a different name than the original I worked from (which I found to be very ?buggy?) ? the originals are still in their respective

Roaming Profiles with Samba PDC
I have been working on this problem for quite some time now and have not been able to find the solution. I have Samba running on Debian Linux 3.0 (Woody) as a primary domain controller. From my Windows 2000 desktop I am able to browse that Linux server with Windows Explorer. My biggest problem is trying to log in to that domain. Under Windows 2000 I am able to join the domain (sjmlinux) but

Unable to login using 3.0.2a-SuSE as PDC and WinXP

I configured samba in the smb.conf as a PDC and created user and machine accounts on the system as well as in the smbpasswd. Afterwards I was able to join the domain with my Windows XP client. After a reboot I am unable to log on to the Domain on my WinXP client. There's just the

Queue question
Hi all, Right now our queue system is working quite well. One thing that I would like to have the option of doing would be to play a "ring" for the customer when they are connected to an agent. Right now they go from music on hold to an agent with no indication that their call is "going through." Our agents are played around a five second message when they pick up a call,

[LLVMdev] AArch64 bot unstable
Hi Gabor, I noticed that one particular test fails intermittently on the AArch64 bot: http://lab.llvm.org:8011/builders/clang-native-aarch64-full FAIL: Profile:: instrprof-set-filename-then-reset-default.c Some times on stage1, others on stage2, others no fail at all. All the commits during these builds are not related to profiling or AArch64, so I believe this has something to do with the
