[v2v PATCH v2] v2v: require 100 available inodes on each filesystem
Enough free space in a filesystem does not imply available inodes to
create/modify files on that filesystem. Hence, require at least 100
available inodes on filesystems that can provide inode counts.

does the template know the name of the method that called it
Within a template, is it possible to get the name of the calling method?
What other data can you query within your template?

Many orphaned inodes after resize2fs
Hello,
yesterday I experienced following problem with my ext3 filesystem:
- I had ext3 filesystem of the size of a few TB with journal. I correctly
unmounted it and it was marked clean.
- I then ran fsck.etx3 -f on it and it did not find any problem.
- After increasing size of its LVM volume by 1.5 TB I resized the
filesystem by resize2fs lvm_volume and it finished without problem.
- But

Client had recoverable error
Mhhh. I am streaming from a 8mbit adsl connection so it should be fast
enough. I tried streaming with media player, it's working for 24 hours now,
doesn't seem to have the problem, is my winamp 5.03 broken? Or is winamp
broken in general? :)
Thanks for the help.

Re: Many orphaned inodes after resize2fs
Hi,
it seems you got it right! I don't know if you read email I sent you before
posting to the mailing list, but I accidentally diagnosed the cause... :)
I've noticed that inodes fsck warned me about, at least ones that I
checked, all have all four timestamps latest in 2010...
The filesystem has maximum 1281998848 inodes, which is timestamp in august
2010. I don't know how it got

validates_format_of on an optional field using :if

I''ve got the following in my model:
validates_format_of :postcode,

:message => "is not valid",
:if => :postcode
... but it''s not working - it always insists on validation, even if postcode
is empty. Basically, the postcode field is optional, but if it''s filled in, I

Maildir and counting inodes
I've been testing with alpha 3 and I am about ready to go production. I
am switching from mbox to maildir and I'd like to know if there is a
formula or rule of thumb for determining if your file system will have
enough inodes to handle all the mail message files.
I could write a script to look at each user's mbox files, count the
number messages and calculate the average number
