Voice Based Bulletin Board.
First, I did my noob homework and found a thread where this had been discussed to some degree in a thread titled "asterisk based bbs" in 2004. I've got a question or two that that thread didn't address. I want to set up a voice based BBS. This will barely stray from the text based bulletin board paradigm we have now. Users will still go to a web page. There, they will still

Bulletin Board for CentOS
Hello, I'm looking for a simple web-based forum for Centos 3.x or 4.x. I've used phpBB before, it was a sysadmin's nightmare :-( This time I want something - that doesn't need a security patch every other week - that ships in a nice RPM so I can patch/upgrade easily Any suggestions, free or commercial? Thanks, -- Francois Caen, RHCE, CCNA SpiderMaker, LLC

Dovecot Bulletin
I'd like to revisit and old post if I may, will/does Dovecot support the old qpopper "Bulletin" ability? Basically I need a simple way of posting bulletins to all domain users. Qpopper maintained a bulletin db for each user and sent them the next bulletin in sequence. Thanks in advance Kevin

cannot change user password with CTRL-ALT-DEL
I've been running samba (currently 2.2.3a-13 for Debian) as a PDC with W2k clients for over two years. The system was up and running quite well for a long time. A couple of days ago, I installed the following MS-patches: MS04-011 MS04-012 MS04-013 MS04-014 MS02-011 Now when users try to change their password from the w2k clients using CTRL-ALT-DEL, a popup window appears saying:

[PATCH AUTOSEL 4.19 070/167] drm/nouveau: Don't WARN_ON VCPI allocation failures
From: Lyude Paul <lyude at redhat.com> [ Upstream commit b513a18cf1d705bd04efd91c417e79e4938be093 ] This is much louder then we want. VCPI allocation failures are quite normal, since they will happen if any part of the modesetting process is interrupted by removing the DP MST topology in question. So just print a debugging message on VCPI failures instead. Signed-off-by: Lyude Paul

[PATCH AUTOSEL 4.4 070/100] drm/nouveau: Fix copy-paste error in nouveau_fence_wait_uevent_handler
From: YueHaibing <yuehaibing at huawei.com> [ Upstream commit 1eb013473bff5f95b6fe1ca4dd7deda47257b9c2 ] Like other cases, it should use rcu protected 'chan' rather than 'fence->channel' in nouveau_fence_wait_uevent_handler. Fixes: 0ec5f02f0e2c ("drm/nouveau: prevent stale fence->channel pointers, and protect with rcu") Signed-off-by: YueHaibing

Spellchecking Sweave documents
I have been using Aspell on a Linux system, but it doesn't understand the noweb chunks, which I'd rather it not spellcheck. I can run it on the generated .tex files, but then changes I make during the spellcheck will not be propagated back to the original source. Any suggestions on how to spellcheck Sweave documents? I see from a search that some people seem to be trying Flyspell on

[RFC] treewide: cleanup unreachable breaks
From: Tom Rix <trix at redhat.com> This is a upcoming change to clean up a new warning treewide. I am wondering if the change could be one mega patch (see below) or normal patch per file about 100 patches or somewhere half way by collecting early acks. clang has a number of useful, new warnings see
