Has anybody written an actuarial (life) survival procedure, this does not appear to be an option in the survival package? This approach is common in orthopaedic surgery to demonstrate the survival of prostheses. I need to apply the "modified" lower conf.int because of the censoring over time. Hi all! At my university, we use for compatibility reasons a windows shared printer running samba server. The main thing is that I can't get smbprint to send pages to the printer. And, more amazing, I get this message: "Unable to connect to SAMBA host, will retry in 60 seconds...ERROR: Connection failed with error NT_STATUS_WRONG_PASSWORD" only when I give the GOOD password! :-/

My server is running Centos 4. The printer is attached to a Win XP machine. Print service is CUPS. Samba version is 3.0.10. I can use smbclient to connect to the printer and successfully print. I have set the printer up with exactly the same settings as I am using with smbclient. When I use lpr to print nothing prints and when I do an lpstat I get the message: Connection failed with error

I work in a lab were the only "printer" we have is an HP 3100 (printer/fax/scanner) item. This printer is hung off a Windows98 box and I want to be able to print to it from my linux box using smbprint. I can connect to the share that represents this printer: smbclient \\\\server\\printer "" -N and I get the SMB> prompt which (I think) is pretty useless for printers.
