Two problems
Hello, I have two problems: 1) Identify my card 2) Error message at dumping 1) It seems to me that I have a special version of the GeForce4 420 Go 32M because my card is a GeForce4 440 Go 64M but both have the same PCI device id. Is this important for the development of the renouveau driver or is this already noted? Outputs: lspci [...] 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation

samba no deleting spool files
I have samba version 2.2.5 with printing patches. printpro 4.2.2 = cups version 1.1.14 (I think) The files queued in /var/spool/samba don't ever get deleted!! They are deleted after they are printed by cups in the cups spool directory. Why is samba not deleting the files? Do I need to specify a pint command? Thanks This is my samba config: # Global parameters [global] workgroup =

problems with multiple samba servers in 1 domain
HI, I've got a samba server acting as wins server and domain / local master. It has a few shares which can be accessed fine. It is running FreeBSD w/samba 2.0.7. I have another machine running Linux w/2.0.7 that has a couple shares that is also accessed with no problems. I have a third Linux machine w/2.0.7 that just doesn't seem to want to work when I give it a certain netbios alias.

Home directory of AD-User
Hi list! I deleted completely Samba on my Server and reinstalled it again. Now it seems to work, but I have a little problem: if I try to access the home directory of a user and write something, the owner of the created directory/file is a UID, but not the user itself... Could someone help me? This is the definition of the share in my smb.conf: [homes] comment = Home Directories

[PATCH 0/3] Add separate non-KMS state; constify struct drm_driver
This patchset moves legacy, non-KMS driver state from struct drm_driver into struct drm_legacy_state. Only non-KMS drivers provide an instance of the latter structure. One special case is nouveau, which supports legacy interfaces. It also provides an instance of the legacy state if the legacy interfaces have been enabled (i.e., defines the config option CONFIG_NOUVEAU_LEGACY_CTX_SUPPORT) I

Samba 4.10 member: SMB login no longer working
Overall domain architecture hasn't changed since my spring cleanup post earlier (I did sort out the krb5 packages and logging settings, though). To start the migration, I figured I'd first update the file servers, since they're the least critical component. Upgrade 4.5 ? 4.8, 4.8 ? 4.9, 4.9 ? 4.10 seemed to work fine each step. However, SMB logins either with smbclient or with

workaround for HFS+'s case-insensitivity?
I am using Mike Rubel's snapshot-style rsync to do backups from my web server (Linux) to my desktop (MacOS X). Mostly, this works great, except where case sensitivity (or rather, HFS+'s semi-lack thereof) causes problems. Specifically, it seems impossible to successfully back up my Linux box's /usr/share/terminfo, as it contains directories that differ ONLY in case (e.g.,

Logins differ for ip/DNS on ad dc
Thanks a lot for your help so far. The main reason I do not use vms is that the server is pretty limited in RAM so this would only be my last resort. To prevent confusion: srv.wie (192.168.1.50) is the same machine as smb.wie (192.168.1.55), I seperated them just now to debug the problem. > These look like they are being run on the DC, what about from the > windows clients ? > I did
