Fw: need roaming profile + local profile (srry for resending it but plz try to help me)
Hi
I've got a samba pdc set up but I've got a strange problem. Everything works fine I can login with the roaming profile BUT I also need a local profile, without the local profile he says that he cannot find the domain name. And the local profile has to be administrator or he doesn't remember my preferences of all my programs and settings.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Output and Word
Hi
I have just started to have a look at R. I have used most stats software
packages and can use perl, visual basic etc. I am interested in how well
it handles lots of output e.g. tables or charts. How would you get lots
of output most easily and quickly into a Word document?

As CentOS is often used for web servers, I thought this should be posted
here.
Bug in ImageMagick allows remote exploit.
AFAIK no patch exists yet but defense against the exploit is detailed at

Dummy quesion about environment
Hi,
I'm trying to understand environment object in R.
I used the example:
f <- function(x) {
y <- 10
g <- function(x) x + y
return(g)
}
h <- f()
h(3)
then i saw that f return an environment
> h
function(x) x + y
<environment: 01B28570>
but I coudn't access to x and y object in that environment:

tapply within a data.frame: a simpler alternative?
Dear list,
I have a data.frame with x, y values and a 3-level factor "group",
say. I want to create a new column in this data.frame with the values
of y scaled to 1 by group. Perhaps the example below describes it best:

> my.df <- data.frame(x = rep(x, 3), y=c(3*sin(x), 2*cos(x),

Fwd: Fwd: Problem connecting to DC from windows 10. Failed to create user record ... acl: unable to get access to ...
I'm sorry. It's my fault. Only administrator can join a domain, so thats
why I coudn't do it as different user. If I join the domain and restert
windows 10, I can login as differnet user. So it was my fault, I didn't
know about it. Everything works ok.
Now I must add some users to administrators group and create some scripts.
Best regards

odds ratios in multiway tables (stratified)
Hi,
does anyone know of a function to calculate odds ratios in multiway
tables (stratified) (+ the other usual statistics involved)
i mean:
say we have a table r*c*d,
For every d (depth) we have a r*c table,
and in this table the odds ratio's are calculated for every 2*2 subtable
in it.
logically this function would look like):
ORs(multiwaytable)
or
ORs(data$var1r,data$var2c,data$var3d)

Conflict between xtable and Hmisc when using Sweave?
Dear R users,
The Sweave code below runs fine, as it is. However, an error occurs when
the line 'library(xtable)' is uncommented:
Error: chunk 1
Error in "label<-"(`*tmp*`, value = "month") :
no applicable method for "label<-"
Is anybody aware of this and knows a workaround?
Thanks,
Sander.

removing NA values from data frame & identification function
Dear people,
1) I have a data frame with named columns.For concreteness, let us say
that I created a data frame from the vectors fee, fi fo, fum by
giant.df <- cbind(fee, fi, fo, fum)
Now, some of the entries in fee, fi fo fum are NAs. I want to remove any
row which contains a NA, thus creating a new, smaller data frame, with the
same column names. This seems like something people would need

NetworkManager default route
Hello,
Why is it so, that NetworkManager allows, and in several cases I've had,
defaults to setting default route to several interfaces at the same time?
Had my fair share of problems with how 172.17.62.something interface
tries to ask for a DHCP lease from 193.something network. I know I could
set never-default to the interfaces, but I shouldn't have to do it to
every machine I had.
