RE: Browsing cont'd

The samba box's hosts go in /etc, /lmhosts go in /etc/samba (if you're using the current defaults. Put the

typical performance on 10mbit switched network
I've never been happy with my samba box's network performance..... I see about 60K/s between 1 client and my samba server the load average on the server is nearly 0 and it's reading from an ide raid5 so i don't think that's a bottleneck. I'm running samba 2.2.7 with socket options = TCP_NODELAY IPTOS_LOWDELAY SO_RCVBUF=8192 SO_SNDBUF=8192 and log level 2 (i know

This user is attemting to log in on a win2003 64 bit client to a PDC running 3.0.14a. I cannot see an error in a level 5 log from the client. I see nothing in the windows event log. I did

The importance of the thing is to know: - How can I determine which class is the class of up-regulated genes and which to the down regulated gene - How can i interpret the results : $pfp, $RPs, $RPrank, Orirank,

Private methods
Hi, I'm trying to understand R's object oriented abilities. I have read (in a very recent email to r-help) that R's methods package does not support private methods. However, I also looked at the source for the function "is": > is function (object, class2) { cl <- .class1(object) if (missing(class2)) return(extends(cl)) if (.identC(cl, class2)
