When I want to print it, I've got a blank page or a black page (fill of black encre) I changed the printer (guessing it was my driver printer), it was the same. When installing Mandrake 9.0 with the higher security option you cannot ping any of it interfaces, localhost (127.0.0.1) included. All other connections to the system are fine, e.g. ssh, www, squid, etc. "shorewall clear" doesn''t help. Does anyone know how to turn this off for at least localhost and eth1?? Yours truly, Ben

Dear all, I have problems in using IE 5 from an existing windows partition. Does anybody have a step by step guide on how to install it? I think the basic problem is that configure can't find any C++ compiler on your system, which is required to build some of the libraries. It's kind of hard to imagine that Mandrake would supply gcc but not g++; maybe something else is wrong. Anyway, if you absolutely do not want any of the C++ stuff, you can just remove the following directories from SUBDIRS in src/Makefile libFLAC++
