reading text file not table
Hello all,
I'm looking for a way to be able to read a text file into R. It's a csv
file but when I do
"txt <-read.table("F00.csv", header=T, sep=",")" It doesn't read the
file properly, and I only get 2 columns. If I open it up in OOc or Excel
it open right with 7 columns.
What I would really like to do is read the file as text and then split
it and

patch for colored drop-shadow
Greetings everybody!
Here's a patch (against compiz from CVS-head about 30 min. ago) that
adds a shadow_color option to the parameters of the decoration-plugin. I
only needed to add a few lines to decoration.c and
gnome-window-decorator.c. The only thing missing is the compiz.schema. I
dare not touch that XML-file manually. So after you applied the patch,
recompiled compiz and restarted

Replication on v2.2.6 - I'm stuck (again)
Hi,
I'm trying to get Dovecot replication working between two servers. I
didn't have much luck on v2.1.3, so after receiving advice from the list I
have upgraded to v2.2.6.
I now get the error:
Oct 30 11:50:16 server1 dovecot: doveadm(mark): Error: user mark: Auth PASS
lookup failed
Oct 30 11:50:16 server2 dovecot: doveadm(mark): Error: sync:

Slider.js - Attemting to put values in form.
I can''t figure out how to take that value that the user has chosen in
the slider and put that into a form value. Does anybody know how to do
this?
Here is my code so far (It''s pretty much directly from script.aculo.us):

Released Pigeonhole v0.4.2 for Dovecot v2.2.6 and Pigeonhole v0.3.6 for Dovecot v2.1.17.
Hello Dovecot users,
Now that Dovecot v2.2.6 is released, I can release a new Pigeonhole. Due
to the SO_REUSEPORT changes in Dovecot, this Pigeonhole release will not
compile cleanly against older Dovecot releases.
This release is mainly about bugfixes. I also made a new release for
Dovecot v2.1.17 that includes most of these fixes and some older ones.

memory map issues with PV PCI passthrough
I have a system with several reserved ranges low in the e820 map which
cause problems when starting PV domains with PCI devices. The machine
memory map looks like:

Problem on Dreamhost: engine for rails 1.1.6
Hi,
I''m trying to set up Substruct (shopping cart engine) on Dreamhost.
I failed several times and tracked down to the problem area.
I can reproduce the problem with these steps:
1. install rails
2. change public/.htaccess for fcgi
3. change public/dispatch.fcgi for RailsFCGIHandler
At this step, I can execute public/dispatch.fcgi without error.
4. svn co

Changing parameter in local fdr R code
I am using Efron's local fdr procedure. But, I want to change the null from
N(0,1) to N(0, 0.002). I can access the function but I have no idea what to
change. In other words, I want nulltype to be N(0,0.002) instead of N(0,1)
in his function. Anyone has any ideas. This is his code for the local fdr:
function (zz, bre = 120, df = 7, pct = 0, pct0 = 1/4, nulltype = 1,
type = 0, plot = 1,

Slider controls
Heya!
Thanks to Marty Haught, script.aculo.us (as of changeset 2281) now
sports
a new Control for horizontal and vertical sliders.
See the functional test file (test/functional/slider_test.html) for
information
on how to use it.
Basically, you do:
<div id="track1" style="width:200px;background-color:#aaa;height:5px;">

[PATCH] Optimize silk_warped_autocorrelation_FIX() for ARM NEON
Hi Jean-Marc,
Thanks a lot for reviewing this huge assembly function!
silk_warped_autocorrelation_FIX_c()'s kernel part is
for( n = 0; n < length; n++ ) {
tmp1_QS = silk_LSHIFT32( (opus_int32)input[ n ], QS );
/* Loop over allpass sections */
for( i = 0; i < order; i++ ) {
/* Output of allpass section */

[PATCH] Optimize silk_warped_autocorrelation_FIX() for ARM NEON
This is a great idea. But the order (psEncC->shapingLPCOrder) can be
configured to 12, 14, 16, 20 and 24 according to complexity parameter.
It's hard to get a universal function to handle all these orders
efficiently. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Linfeng

[PATCH] Optimize silk_warped_autocorrelation_FIX() for ARM NEON
I attached a new patch with small cleanup (disassembly is identical as the
last patch). We have done the same internal testing as usual.
Also, attached 2 failed temporary versions which try to reduce code size
(just for code review reference purpose).
The new patch of silk_warped_autocorrelation_FIX_neon() has a code size of
3,228 bytes (with gcc).
smaller_slower.c has a code size of 2,304
