Fw: Win XP, Samba PDC, Profile Question
Hi, PLease, please help. I am running Rh 6.2, Samba 2.2.4 as a PDC and I have been upgrding my clients to XP over the last week (company holidays! - except for me!). I can join to the Domain using Registry Edit (Sign or Seal) and I am not using roaming profiles to start with so I have blanked out the logon path and logon home in my smb.conf. [PATCH AUTOSEL 5.5 356/542] drm/nouveau/gr/gk20a, gm200-: add terminators to method lists read from fw
From: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs at redhat.com> [ Upstream commit 7adc77aa0e11f25b0e762859219c70852cd8d56f ] Method init is typically ordered by class in the FW image as ThreeD, TwoD, Compute. Due to a bug in parsing the FW into our internal format, we've been accidentally sending Twod + Compute methods to the ThreeD class, as well as Compute methods to the TwoD class - oops. Host: CentOS 7.7, virtualisation through KVM and qemu. Pretty standard, straight out of the box. I just used VMM to run up another VM and installed into it. CentOS 8.0 1905 is now available for download
Heads up, Hyper-V Gen 2, CentOS 8 Server with GUI install results in a black screen as updates are needed for X to properly detect and load the video. If you can ssh into the box, do a yum update and it should grab the needed updates, then reboot. Network IP address
Hello all, Quick question. Our network has NO connection to the internet (the way we want it) but we are using 66.2.x.x as our IP addresses. However, I am now reading that 192.168.x.x is the preferred naming convention. If I leave as 66.2.x.x will I have problems with Samba? Because I dont connect to the Internet do I need to change? Thanks in advance and hope Mr. Gerard O'Reilly Intranet
