Hi. Which CentOS version you using? If it is CentOS 6 then instead of building it from source, you can use IUS repo which has latest php packages. error building php spec file
Hey all, I'm attempting to build a spec file of php 5.6.7 - the latest stable - into an rpm. And it's failing with this set of errors: Processing files: php-5.6.7-1.el7.x86_64 warning: File listed twice: /etc/rc.d/init.d/php-fpm error: Symlink points to BuildRoot: /usr/bin/phar -> /home/bluethundr/rpmbuild/BUILDROOT/php-5.6.7-1.el7.x86_64/usr/bin/phar.phar warning: File listed twice:

PHP handler for .html files - C7
Morning all, I am finally moving some old (F9 thru F17) servers to C7 (Plus PHP7/Pgsql10) boxes. On the old boxes they all had it set so that .htm and .html files were handled by PHP in addition to the normal .php files. This was done with the simple change to: AddHandler php5-script .php .htm .html AddType text/html .php .htm .html in /etc/httpd/conf.d/php.inc. I did the same on my first

Programmatically counting RSpec tests?
If I have an object `obj` that is a SpecTask, and subsequently invoke it, is there a way to programmatically determine the number of tests that were successful, failed, and pending as a result of running that SpecTask? -- John Feminella Principal Consultant, Distilled Brilliance

php53 and pear
Hi all We require some packages installed through pecl (apc and memcache) which we have done on CentOS 5.5 by installing php 5.2 from testing and also installing php-devel and php-pear to much success! We would like to move to php 5.3 after 5.6 comes out but I note that there is no specific php53-pear package in testing and the php-pear srpm in the 5server directory on ftp rc com seems to be

CentOS 6.2 x86_64 + PHP 5.3.3 + Zend Guard Loader v3.3 == Segfault
Hello everyone, I've got issues getting Zend Guard Loader v3.3 running. Tried several installations, doesn't work for any. Once I install Zend Guard Loader my PHP CLI binary starts to segfault *at exit*. Same is true for apache processes with mod_php enabled: Works until you SIGHUP your apache processes. Doing that your webserver quits with a segfault. Can anyone reproduce that

[LLVMdev] InstMetrics would look a lot like NoTTI
FWIW, this all makes perfect sense from a philosophical point of view. If anything, I think it is absolutely critical to differentiate the very interface this exposes from the TTI interfaces. The latter should be cost functions, that are as accurate as we can make them while remaining largely "conservative" (IE, don't assume any clever brilliance is the chip or backend; what is the

ADODB and SQLServer
Hey Guys, I''m absolutely stumped by this error. I haven''t seen it during any of my development, or working in production until just this week. Randomly, rails app becomes totally inaccessible until I restart the webserver. I tossed in some custom error messages stuff, so I could get the client to send me mail when it broke, and this is the error I''m getting:

[LLVMdev] LLVM Developers Meeting 2008
Hi! I was just thinking that it'd be cool (to me at least) to have the following page made into a podcast. I'd be happy to put together the feed if someone would tell me it would be worth it. I don't imagine it would be too hard for whomever runs the site to throw it together, either. http://llvm.org/devmtg/2008-08/ Thanks! JP -- ". . . Through the cold and darkness

return(); was Suggestions for "good teaching" packages
I tend to code with return(), at least in development, because I've once stepped in the cowpad of ans<- list( ) then attr(ans ....) and forgot to do another ans so got only part of what I wanted. Perhaps its just my thinking style, but I agree with some others who suggest that it's not such a bad idea to be explicit about what one is doing. I prefer pedestrian code that
