Hi, I have configured roaming profile on WIndows Xp client that is connect to the Samba. Login works fine except that when I change the wallpaper on one machine, log off and goes to another machine, the wallpaper was not changed on the other one. Hello, I was looking at the ldap authentication code (in 2.2.5) and it looks like there is no support for having multiple ldap servers for authentication (ie, if one is not responding, try from a backup). Before last week, we have been running Samba 3.0.28 on Ubuntu Hardy as a PDC for Windows XP Pro machines using roaming profiles. This has worked for years with no issues. We migrated to a server running Ubuntu Lucid and Samba 3.4.7 so that we could start adding Windows 7 Pro machines to the domain.
