Your message doesn't help us very much. You haven't said what kind of
calculation it is you want to do, and that certainly matters. For
example, for some kinds of computations the solution you started below
would work fine:

> is.na(diag(M)) <- TRUE
> M

Streaming flac problems!!
Hello,
My name is Vincent and I have some difficulties to realize my project.
Indeed, I must developp a streaming flac client/server and I have some
difficulties to find detailed information about this.
I chose to use the platform Ices/Icecast to do my project. I took the Vorbis
streaming like example but the library has not the same structure as the
flac library.
So , I send this message in

Streaming flac problems!!
A patch to add streaming support to the FLAC XMMS plugin has been sitting
on my hard drive for several months (Josh wasn't accepting patches at the
time because of the Xiph move, and I've been busy/lazy since then). This
weekend I'll make an effort to update it to the current cvs and send if
off to Josh.
That covers the client side (well, at least on platforms XMMS runs on). As

Problem with asterisk+gnugk
Hi!
I'm trying to build gnugk with asterisk. Asterisk is working well with chan_h323
built with needed PWlib v.1.5.2 and open H.323 v.1.12.2.
But gnugk' s installing instructions says that I need latest PWlib(1.17.1) and
openh323 to get gnugk work. Now, with installed pwlib and openh323 gnugk's
compiling fails and I get error 1.
Do you have any working solutions with asterisk and

Changing ACLs as administrator
One work-around would be to create a hidden share that only Domain Admins
can access. The use "force user=root" on that share. Then you'll be able to
change ACL's and not be root.

taking ownership
Hello,
I have winbind set up and working with Linux 2.2.20acl, as far as
I can tell everything works except for "Taking Ownership" and
modification of permissions by group members.
I have a user ( we'll call him "user" ) who is in the DOMAIN+Employees group
( this groups has full control over FILE.doc ).
If I try to change permissions from a Windows 2k client, I get an

hiding Unix perms
Hello,
Sorry if I missed this in the docs, I haven't seen an option to do this..
I have a Samba server ( Linux 2.20acl kernel ) named "fileserver" set up and
working well as a fileserver to Windows clients ( I am using winbind also ).
Samba has some awesome capabilities nowadays :) The current issues I am
facing aren't exactly showstoppers, but I know they'll be

his problems) is highly schizophrenic imho.
3 days ago hi signed his mail ''Kamala''

Today, ''Murali''.
If you are trying to trick the guys here, change also your

Intro for a new guy
Hi all,
Thought I''d send out a hello message - have just signed up to this
mailing list.
I work at a company providing dev services in Java and PHP and I''m
currently learning rails with the aim of persuading the rest of the
company to try it too.
Congrats on the 1.0 release, hope things just keep getting better as I''m
loving Rails so far :)
Cheers,
Kee

help a bald guy
Greetings listers,
I have been running 1.4.21 for about 7 months now,
but have been told I have to move up the 1.4 food chain or into the 1.6
chain because 1.4.21 is too flaky for our POTS line handling (does funny
things with echo, doesn't connect to external conference calls, etc.).
Which release will give me the most joy/least headache/closest performance

number) in context default from (calling number) does not exist" and it
denies the call. this is trying to use the "s" extension (default demo
extensions). if I configure an extension for my * 10 digit number it works

Re: Last guy to get BV working outbound
Wow, thanks Brian! Everything I saw said the patch was only needed on
older releases. I've updated several times over the last week. I
patched two systems today, one 3/11/05 and one 3/17/05 and now they both
work. Should have posted here sooner!

New guy on the block
Hi Randy,
Here's my advice - I'm a relative newbie myself but hopefully the
little I've learnt will be useful to you:
(1) Install icecast for the broadcasting, and also install "ices" for
the actual playing of the files. Use ices 0.4 if you want MP3, or ices
2 if you want Ogg Vorbis.
(2) Create a folder on your system, and in that folder store your
music - ideally,

The failure of that guy from NTPsec getting an RID / Key Identifier
I want to exchange information on how to get my MS-SNTP client working.
Additionally, I am seeking guidance on how to program retrieving a valid 'Key
Identifier'; that should be enough to get my MS-SNTP client working. Once
accomplished, I can adequately test the ntp_signd code in NTPsec.
Microsoft may have deprecated the implementation previously supported by Samba
