Samba binding to two IPs, even when specified not to
Hello. I'm running RH 7.1, with Samba 2.2.2. VERY often I get a SIGHUP to
smbd and it'll dump the workgroups. I also get a "Discarding datagram from
IP 216.202.200.103. Source name ROUTER<00> is one of our names" all the
time also. This line FILLS my logs. I don't understand this one, because I
have the interfaces line specified in smb.conf to use only the local

strange problems with permissions
Hello. If anyone can point me in the right direction on this problem I
would be very greatful. I was hoping there was a "newbie" list but
didn't see one. If there is a more appropriate list for this question,
please let me know.
I am running samba on linux, with mac and windows clients using two
different samba shares, one password protected and one with no
password. Once in a

SIGUP? Losing Share
Hello,
I'm new to the list and pretty much a newbie to linux and samba. I'm
quick learner though. I have been losing my samba share upon ocasion
recently, below is a portion of the syslog from the time period that I
think is when the share goes down. A reboot of the server or a restart
of the smbd fixes the problem (....until it happens again)
I don't know what SIGUP is or why

Samba nmbd crashes with PANIC
Hi there, ive got a nasty little problem with my Samba 2.2.1, running on a
lfs system with kernel 2.2.18 and glibc 2.2.2 .
At boottime i first load smbd with option -D and after that nmbd -D. But
immediatly after that nmbd crashes without saying a word. Then i found
something very interesting in the logs, here an excerpt of log.nmbd :

How to constraint instructions reordering from patterns?
Here is a last example to illustrate my concern.
The problem is about the lowering of node t13.
Initial selection DAG: BB#0 '_start:entry'
SelectionDAG has 44 nodes:
t11: i16 = Constant<0>
t0: ch = EntryToken
t3: ch = llvm.clp.set.rspa t0, TargetConstant:i16<392>, Constant:i32<64>
t5: ch = llvm.clp.set.rspb t3,

How to constraint instructions reordering from patterns?
Krzysztof,
Thanks for your interest to my questions.
In order to clarify the context, here is the C source file of my test case.
The 3 builtins initialize some stack pointers. They have to be executed before any other instruction.
extern float fdivfaddfmul_a(float a, float b, float c, float d);
volatile static float x1,x2,x3,x4;
void _start(void)
{
float res;

Mapping virtual registers to physical registers
Hi Krzysztof, Thanks for your response.
I was trying to map function input parameters to machine specific registers.
My solution I found is based to the RegInfo.setSimpleHint() API.
Here is the body of the parameters loop of TargetLowering::LowerFormalArguments
VReg = RegInfo.createVirtualRegister(RC);
RegInfo.setSimpleHint(VReg,CLP::FA_ROFF1+i);

prototype of simple NX client with auto-resuming ssh session
Dear All:

Summary, especially for openssh list (to test/reproduce):
THANK YOU for all your help.
Please extract into /home/username/nx on both host and client. cp ssh to a file named mxssh in that directory. Run
(with an _n_ below)
Start server on the remote host by typing ./server &
Now do:
./nxssh hostname
If you killall client on the remote end, it reconnects "seamlessly"

smbd and login scripts
Hello
I've two strange problems:
- smbd
I've attached you my smb.conf, inetd.conf and my log file. Sometimes smbd and
nmbd run and somtimes only nmbd run (I check it with ps -ax). But I have
access over my shares (I test it with my Win95 machine). Also in my log
file there're some error messages (I don't now from where the came).
- login scripts
My scripts won't run but if

How to constraint instructions reordering from patterns?
The DAG dumping will try to print some of the nodes "inline" (i.e. where
they are used) to make the output more readable, so the dump of the DAG
may not strictly reflect the node ordering.

Are there some strong naming conventions in TableGen?
Hi,
For the development of a new micro-controller backend, I try to lowering the following store SDNode: t5: ch = store<ST2[%ptr2](align=4)> t0, Constant:i16<3>, FrameIndex:i16<1>, undef:i16
I have defined the following instruction and associated DAG pattern.

Samba / Windows workgroup master browser problem
I admit theres a LOT about the windows networking I dont understand -
and even though this may NOT be a SAMBA issue per se, I thought I'd post
it here.
Have a 400gb samba server thats been working well (am upgrading to
current patches today, btw).
I've got 3 Win2k workstations, on two subnets, that have drives mapped,
and connect every morning on startup just fine. All the machines

Mapping virtual registers to physical registers
Hi Dominique,
From your description it is not really clear what you are trying to do
here. It may be the case that the goal you are trying to accomplish can
be better reached using a different approach.
In general, optimizations don't try to assign physical registers, that's
done by the register allocation passes. There are some cases when
target-specific passes use physical

2.0.6: HUP/charset/profiles/smbmount/logging
This is the list of problems I had with samba-2.0.6 so far. Can anyone
tell me if he can reproduce them and if he considers them as problems?

sighup/log reopening doesn't always work: connections that are already
active keep logging to the old logs; logrotate rotates/zip the logs and
samba stops logging completely till restart.

Node deletion during DAG Combination ?
Hi,
I'm trying to optimize the 'extract_vector_elt' for my SIMD microcontroller.
The idea is, during DAG combination, to merge load/extract sequence into an architecture specific node.
During Instruction Selection, this specific node will be target selected to an architecture specific instruction.
By 'combination of DAG nodes' I understand 'replacing a set of DAG nodes by

Mapping virtual registers to physical registers
Hi again,
After further investigation, I've found that the private PhysRegUseDefLists array ("head of use/def list for physical register") from MachineRegisterInfo class seems to be empty.
But I didn't found any methods for updating such data structure. How/where this "use/def list" should be managed ?
Is the documentation

INTERNAL ERROR - Sig 11
I've had Samba 1.9.18p3 running on a FreeBSD 2.2.7 box at home for months
without problems, but after installing 1.9.18p10 on a 2.2.7 box, with the
same smb.conf (except for an IP change in the interfaces config and the
Netbios server name), I keep getting the following entry in log.nmb

intermitent domain logon failures
I have an issue where at odd times, maybe after 3 days, maybe after a
week, people suddenly cant do domain logons. Unfortunately the machine
is 50km away so i'm sure theres more details I can glean once I can
interogate the users a bit more.
Things I have noticed:
Anyone currently logged in can still work fine.
A restart of samba fixes the issue (till it hapens next).

Mapping virtual registers to physical registers
Hi,
In the context of MachineCode custom inserter, I'm trying to enforce the mapping of virtual register to a physical one.
According to the documentation https://llvm.org/docs/CodeGenerator.html#mapping-virtual-registers-to-physical-registers
There are two ways: the direct one and the indirect ones. The indirect ones refer VirtRegMap class that I've never found. So I tried the direct

Patch for Element.Class - wrong regexp
Hello,
I noticed (due to a recent post by Martin Honnen to clp) that
Element.Class uses wrong regexps for its operations.
E.g., Element.Class.has() will find "classA" in "classA-foobar"
I also changed the interface of .has() to the more general one used in
.has_any()
