Error mesage
Hi,
I work for SUN Microsystems and I have a customer running samba 2.05a under
solaris 2.6.
SMB status gives:
route did not create the semaphore
failed to initialise share modes
Cant initialise shared memory - exiting
Daemon is still running
Did a test parm - this seems to indicate configuration is OK.
Same config running on another similarly setup machine , which works fine.

Confusion regarding cpu-arch values for EFI ByteCode and 64-bit
This document:
http://www.iana.org/assignments/dhcpv6-parameters/dhcpv6-parameters.xml
Has the same (plus expanded) list of cpu arch values for parameter 0x93.
This list matches RFC 4578 except for values 7 and 9 which are EFI ByteCode
and x86-64.
Turns out RFC 4578 is wrong
https://www.rfc-editor.org/errata_search.php?rfc=4578
And 00:07 *is* the correct value for 64-bit x86 clients and the

AW: OpenSSH public key authentication does not work from Windows client if private key was added to SSH agent
Hey Damien,
thank you for your reply. I posted the debug information at https://pastebin.com/40esNPED and replaced some sensitive information before (usernames, servernames, domainnames, IP addresses). In addition I commented some lines with a message like "### <my message> ###".

The "median" function in R does not work properly.
Hi,
1.) The "median" function does not work well. Please refer to the data
below (same data is attached as txt-delimited). This is what I try to
do in R:
median ( dataf [2:9] )
I get warning: "needs numeric data"
2.) BUT if apply the median to a single vector:
median ( dataf [,2]] )
then it works:
3.) How come the "median"

repeater
Hi all there.
I am trying to set up an icecast2 server (wich is already running) to
send some stream mount point to another server. I mean, my server is
streaming at /radio1.mp3 mount point. We can listen it at
http://myserver:8000/radio1.mp3; so, i want to know if is there any
way to "clone" that strem and send it to another server, such as
http://giss.tv:8000/radio1.mp3
Thanks.

SSHA256 scheme
Hi again,
I`m a bit confused how to store a SSHA256 password in the database and
I can`t find any information in the wiki.
Do I have to store the SHA256 hash and the salt separately (what would
the password_query be like in this way) or just the final SSHA256 hash?

OpenSSH public key authentication does not work from Windows client if private key was added to SSH agent
Hey guys,
I installed OpenSSH 7.9p1 on Windows Server 2016 and generated a SSH key pair with ssh-keygen on my Windows 10 Client (OpenSSH 7.6p1). I can connect to the server with "ssh user at domain@servername -i id_rsa". But as soon as I add the private key to the SSH agent by "ssh-add id_rsa" this does not work anymore and aborts with the message "Permission denied

Object#tap_if and Object#tap_unless
I originally brought this up in: https://github.com/rails/rails/issues/9067
Rails paved the way for Object#tap and Object#try...I''d like to propose
Object#tap_if and its counterpart,Object#tap_unless.
I''ve been following 37signals conventions of tapping variables in the views:
<% account.owner.tap do |user| %>
...
<% end %>
But, I find myself having to do this

ices-0.4 on gentoo
Hi,
this just means that ices cannot be found in the global system PATH, because you did'nt run configure with option --prefix=/usr/. If you just run configure everything will be installed after a successful mak and make install in prefix /usr/local.
Try to start ices like /usr/local/bin/ices -c /usr/local/etc/ices.conf.dist -B
Hope this helps

Vorbis license in non-English languages?
Hi;
I emailed monty@xiph.org about this before I noticed the mailing list
existed; I suppose it can't ask to hurt here too.
We're about to release a product which has support for multiple languages;
as a result, the license text and documentation has been translated into
each of these languages. As the product includes Ogg Vorbis playback using
libvorbis, we've obviously got to

expire tool - individual user/folder?
Hello,
is the expire plugin usable to delete mails with different settings for each
individual user?
If i view sample config at http://wiki.dovecot.org/Plugins/Expire it looks
like expire-data are related to foldernames.
Is it possible to let each user "activate" the expire-plugin for different
folders with different settings?
Thanks,
Andre
