renaming routes.rb
When you create a new rails app the default home page says to rename routes.rb. I tried this, but when I run script/console or script/server I get an error saying the routes.rb file can''t be found. If you rename this file is there an environment variable holding the location elsewhere in the application? -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

Fractional Factorial Design
Hi all, Does anybody know if it is possible to build a fractional factorial design in R? That is, suppose that we want do design an experiment with 3 factors with 2, 3 and 3 levels, respectivly. However we want to consider, let's say, only 6 from all possible level combinations. Does R design such experiment? Thanks in advance, Caio [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

paste together object names to pass it on to a function
Hello, I have a maybe trivial question, but I simply don't understand well enought how to work with text/strings: I have a rather compelx data structure, a big list with several sub-lists/dataframes and for certain calculations (which I do in loops), I only need a certain group of sub-lists/dataframes, which I want to specify with a name vector and paste together the object name and pass it

dmesg shows Intel Virt., lsmod shows kvm_intel; "Host does not [have] virt. options"
Hello, I've tried over at IRC and it appears the solution to this problem may not be obvious. I'm working with a Centos7 box on HP ProLiant 380p hardware. The BIOS is a bit outdated, but both Intel Virtualization Options and VT-d are present and enabled in the firmware. Some relevant command outputs below: -bash-4.2$ dmesg | grep Virtualization [ 1.299295] DMAR: Intel(R)

Trouble passing PCI device in isolated IOMMU group
I'm attempting PCI-passthrough from host to guest on an HP ProLiant 380P, which has an outdated BIOS (2014), but it does support VT-d. I'm running CentOS 7, kernel 3.10.0-862.9.1.el7.x86_64. I have an Intel 82580 NIC installed with 4 ports. Each of these ports is in its own IOMMU group (I enabled SR-IOV at the BIOS, which might be the reason they show up separately) After detaching and

Importing vector graphics into R
Dear R users, I know of the possibility to import bitmaps via the nice pixmap library. But if you later on create a PDF it is somewhat disappointing to have such graphics bitmapped. Is there a trick (via maps?) to import a vector graphic and have them plotted onto a graph? My searching attempts in the searchable r-help archive did not seem to result in anything useful... Cheers, hinrich

Broadvoice problems again
I had my asterisk configuration working very well with broadvoice, but it stopped working this afternoon. I plugged the Cisco 7960 phone I used for my origional signup (just a few days before they offered generic BYOD) and it works fine. I did notice it seems to do all of its comunication through proxy.broadvoice.com (I used tcpdump). I have never contacted broadvoice about using asterisk

RE: [Asterisk-Dev] Problem Making a SIP call over a long latencynetwork- Call rejected: 407 Proxy
I got the same trouble on some Zyxel ATA box ( NAT and non-NAT) since I upgrade from 1.0.0 to 1.0.7. It was working well with 1.0.0 but not with 1.0.7. I am around 600 ms away from the * server. Any Clue ? but it has nothing to do with port blocking , Stateful , and so on ..... the access I use , work with version 1.0.0 but not with version 1.0.7

Is qpopper vulnerable?? Re: CERT Advisory CA-97.09 - Vulnerability in IMAP and POP
I''ve got qualcomm''s qpopper2.2, and am not sure if its vulnerable. The advisory mentions pop and imap servers, but only says: version of IMAP (Section B). If your POP server is based on the University of Washington IMAP server code, you should also upgrade to the latest version of IMAP. Until you can take one of these actions, I installed the new imapd about 3

Obtaining the chroot-cage directory of the mailstore
Hello, I'd like to find a function in the sourcecode which enables me to get the chroot-path of the mailstore, so I can concatenate it with the result of mail_storage_get_mailbox_path to get the full path of a mailbox within the filesystem. Does such a function exist? Who can help me? Thanks in advance. Stefan -- SIEGNETZ.IT GmbH { w3o-services } Schneppenkauten 1a D-57076 Siegen

Hello, I want to make a program to extract frame from a theora movie as images. I tried with the decoding example located at theora web site (dump_video.c. I use it to extract a frame as yuv image but when I try to convert it to ppm with yuvtoppm program i obtain a strange image ( see http://poux.be/tmp/file.ppm ). Best practise guide
Hi, I''m a new puppet user (thanks !) and I''m just looking at moving my homegrown manifest structure into something resembling the best practise guide at : http://www.reductivelabs.com/trac/puppet/wiki/PuppetBestPractice. It seems as if the structure here doesn''t map to the default puppet layout (and thus doesn''t work with the standard puppet config

OggPCM version / header finalization
I have OggPCM (as currently defined) support implemented in mencoder and mplayer. I'd like to request that we settle on modifications to this header by the middle of next week or freeze the current header as the official major version 1.0, so I can get the patches cleaned up and released. We will be shipping a separate product based on this work in the near-term future, and compatability
