delete roaming profiles under win2k and PGP. Not good.
Hi there! After some long hours trying to figure out some nasty behavior related to win2k automatically deleting roaming cached profiles, I?d like to share the results with you guys for any future reference. CONFIG: Samba 2.2.2 stack release with ACL support linux kernel version 2.4.13-ac4 with ACL many win2ksp2 machines with NTFS PGP 7.0.3 installed on all win

W2K Sp2 in NT4 domain and roaming profiles on samba 2.2.3a
Hello samba-insiders, we have a WinNT 4.0 SP5 PDC and our samba 2.2.3a is member of the domain. The roaming profiles of our clients stored on the samba 2.2.3a server. All seams to be perfect but only clients with W2K SP2 cannot use there roaming profiles. ---> "Access Denyed" is the W2K errro message. But if the same user loggs on on a client machine with W2K SP1 all things are ok.

Annoying gconf/ccsm behavior
Fedora 10 ships with compiz and launches it as: compiz --ignore-desktop-hints glib gconf This causes compiz to load the glib and gconf plugins at startup. This works fine. The problem arises when the gconf database does not include those plugins in /apps/compiz/general/allscreens/options/active_plugins. What happens is that the plugins get loaded at startup, and after all the

About LoopDeletion and infinite loops ... again! (RFC?)
I see the usecase for mixed language compilation (that’s probably why you fancy something like the side-effect thing instead right?) BTW if the other proposal passes can we basically assume that if a loop doesn’t have the sideeffect intrinsic in it is then removable? That patch seems to suggest that in its current state llvm is mostly broken for languages that consider all infinite loops as

Win2k Roaming Profiles problems under NTFS
Hi there! I have a Samba 2.2.2 PDC on linux 2.4.13 with ACL (acl.bestbits.at) support installed. There seems to be a problem with Roaming Profiles. Win2k with local NTFS filesystem will never delete roaming profiles (yes, I have regedited the DeleteRoamingCache to 1). In fact, any time TheUser logs back in, a new folder named TheUser.OURDOMAIN.??? (where ? is an integer) will be created,

Samba 2.2.3a SHOWSTOPPER!
I have a *big* problem with Access 2000 running on a Windows 2000-SP2 PC on 2.2.3a. The error: "Visual Basic for Applications Project in This Database is Corrupt" I have a log level 10 of the 2.2.3a samba for that machine. Then, I returned to 2.2.2 and did the same thing (log level 10). No error! When I go back to 2.2.3a, I can create the problem over and over again. Who wants

It's also about not having parameterized semantics for the IR. I'd certainly find that undesirable. We could make it part of datalayout, or similar, but that has problems with

get older version 3.0.37
Dear all, I have a client who uses Samba 3.0.28 on AIX 5.3 and he is running into problems with the cpu utilization which is 100% caused by one or more smbd processes. I found out that this problem should be solved in version 3.0.37 and want to know if there is a way to get the bff-file of this version. I am not able to compile samba myself on the machine which has the problem and I am

RE: Yahoo!-like Event object emulation/abstractioninPrototype?
If that doesn''t work, then you''ve done something wrong somewhere. ''Cause it works for IE for me and everyone else. The only advantage I see with the YUI toolkit is that it''ll defer attaching events to elements that do not yet exist in the DOM. Big whoop, only a sloppy programmer would try to attach an event to a non-existant element. With Prototype, you can

Samba ADS on AIX 6.1 TL04
Hi All I'm trying to intergrate samba server with ADS on AIX 6.1 TL04, for last one week, with idmap / winbind but no satisfactory results. I have gone through various links at samba.org relating to winbind, idmapper and followed http://pware.hvcc.edu/ for precompiled binaries and http://pware.hvcc.edu/AIX-Samba.pdf which is for AIX 6.1 TL03 though. I have found the samba which is provided

Pattern transformation between scalar and vector on IR.
Hi All, I'm tring to use RSQRT instructions on follow case for ARM (now what using is sqrt): 1.0 / sqrt(x) The RSQRT instructions(VRSQRTE/VRSQRTS) are vector type, but above operation is scalar type. So a transformation must be done(transform sqrt pattern to rsqrt). I have completed a patch for this, but I made the transformation in the backend which will leads to additional

Thanks very much, Renato! I looked into the regressions, there're many cases have similar context as the case I mentioned but N just has only one use. In this case, the canonicalisation won't make it more profitable, will only prevent the possible folding or make the sequence is not expected. The regressions be eliminated, after I limit the expanding to not "N->hasOneUse()".

Samba 2.2 and "nt acl support = no"
Hello- We've been working on upgrading our servers from Samba 2.0.6 to Samba 2.2.1a and have run into a problem with a change in Samba's behavior when NT ACL support is turned off. I was hoping someone on the list could provide some insight about what is going on. First, some background. On our main file servers, we've been running Samba 2.0.6 with NT ACL support turned off

LLVM issuse:AArch64 TargetParser
Hi everyone, I'm a member engineer of linaro's llvm team, coming from Spreadtrum.I am a new person on LLVM.Now I'm writing a Target Parser for AArch64,so options parsing of AArch64 about cpu & arch & fpu can be summary to one place. In the TargetParser,we assume "aarch64" and "arm64" are synonyms of armv8a(as they are only for armv8a,people usually do
