Join fails with 'SPNEGO login failed: invalid parameter'
Hi,
I am running Samba 3.2.4 on a Solaris 10 SPARC machine. The config is pretty
simple (see below). Security is set to 'domain'. The PDC and BDC are running
3.0.30 without problems.
When joining the machine to the domain with 'net rpc join', it fails with:
Could not connect to server 130.37.79.2
Connection failed: NT_STATUS_INVALID_PARAMETER
when running the net command

Antwort: Re: Quota in MySql Dict not recalculate automatic
With quota count and quota_clone it works, but can I use noenforcing with
quota count?
quota = count:User quota:noenforcing
When I test this config, I receive no quota-warning E-Mail:
service quota-warning {
executable = script /usr/local/bin/quota-warning.sh
# user = dovecot
user = vmail
unix_listener quota-warning {
user = vmail
group = vmail
mode = 0660
}

Questions about Domain Member server
Hi list,
I have a couple of questions regarding Samba being a Domain Member
of a Samba PDC and BDC.
Situation:
3 servers, running Solaris 9 and Samba 3.0.7. The Solaris
machines are LDAP clients (getpwent fetches info from LDAP).
The Samba domain is called 'ALW'.
Machine 1: PDC + LDAP master (PDC1)
Machine 2: BDC + LDAP slave (BDC1)
Machine 3: Domain Member server (FS1)

It should work, I have to check why it's not working.

matplot help
Hi,
My question is how do I gain control over what values the X and Y axis show. Below is a sample plot I have made and want the X axis to represent a time vector with values taking the form Q1.60, Q2.60, Q3.60...Q1.90..etc...Currently the X axis starts with value 0 and increases by 1 through the end of the sample.

[LLVMdev] Floating point compare instruction selection
Hello,
I didn't get any reply to my previous mail about adding floating point intrinsics to the X86 pattern instruction
selector... And I could really need some help. Anyway, I think my confusion was caused partly by an already existing bug
in the instruction selection for floating point compares.
The case which emits code for the special case of comparing against constant 0.0 does not

Difference in behaviour with --backup
When I do
rsync -av --backup --backup-dir=/dir1/dir2/Backup \
/dir1/dir2/dir3 machine:/dir1/dir2/dir3
I get /dir1/dir2/Backup/dir3/...
/Backup/dir3/dir4/...
i.e. the tree under 'dir3' (my source tree) gets created
under .../Backup. This is fine.
But when I do the same thing with a single file like
rsync -av --backup --backup-dir=/dir1/dir2/Backup \
/dir1/dir2/file

cucumber - when to stub/mock
I''m just curious about this, since my solution involved stubbing a
call to GeoIp.
Is there a good rule of thumb for when you make exceptions to the ''no
stubbing'' philosophy of Cucumber?
My step was: "Given I am accessing the site from Japan," but I can
think of other situations - mostly when interacting with web services,
that I''d probably

How to render my own error pages correctly?
Hi there,
I am trying to get my own error pages (404 for example) displayed
correctly.
I raise an error in my controller:
raise MyException.new, "Bad thing."
Therefore I defined:
class MyException < Exception
end
Furthermore I catch that in application.rb:
def rescue_action_in_public(exception)
case exception
when MyException
logger.error("404

anthem details
Hello Everyone,
Does anyone have any more detail about what kind of system Anthem / Blue
Cross was running and what kind of attack broke into their system?
It's terrible that it happened, but I think it would benefit all Admins
everywhere to learn how it happened so that we can secure our systems
from a similar breach of information.
Anyone know?

error in parallel:::sendMaster
Hi Andreas,
thank you very much, good job finding it was EBADF. Now the question is
why the pipe has been closed prematurely; it could be accidentally by R
(a race condition in the cleanup code in fork.c) or possibly by some
other code running in the same process (maybe the R program itself or
some other code it runs). Maybe we can take this off the list and come
back when we know the cause

Rate file formats: a standard?
[crossposted to isp-clec and asterisk-users]
As part of several larger projects, the question of rate importation
from termination carriers has come up. If a firm has four different
LD partners, as an example, then it is obvious that the firm needs to
determine at the origination of a call where that call would be best
sent on a cost basis. I'll ignore things like quality of service and
