[LLVMdev] Why buildbot sanitizer-ppc64-linux1 blames r239459?
I'm trying to understand why the buildbot sanitizer-ppc64-linux1 fails due to my latest patch. It was in llvm::GlobalValue while the reported failure is: strcspn-2.c.tmp: /home/buildbots/sanitizerslave1/sanitizer-ppc64-1/build/llvm/projects/compiler-rt/test/asan/TestCases/strcspn-2.c:17: int main(int, char **): Assertion `r == sizeof(s1) - 1' failed. where strcspn-2.c (below) tests the

Problem getting Samba 3.0.14a to join NT domain as BDC
Hi list, This is driving me to distraction. I have installed the 3.0.14a RPMS on SLES8, and am following chapter 9 of the 'By Example' documentation, to migrate from an NT domain to a Samba domain backed by LDAP. I have followed the instructions up to the point where I enter: net rpc join -S pdc_it -U Administrator%password Unfortunately, this responds with: Creation of workstation

[LLVMdev] buildbot failure in LLVM on llvm-ppc64-linux1
Hi All, I'm trying to reproduce a failure on llvm-ppc64-linux1 (http://lab.llvm.org:8011/builders/llvm-ppc64-linux1/builds/5382) and llvm-ppc64-linux2 builders caused by one of my patches yesterday. Some of the CodeGen/Hexagon tests failed to compile with stack dump problem. I tried to configure and build LLVM for PowerPC on my machine locally but don't see the failures. I had to remove

Back-up differences. Raspberry Pi and Fedora
I am using the 'backup to a central backup server with 7 day incremental' example to archive three separate computers to identically configured (apart from name) shares on a Western Digital 'MyBookLive' NAS which has rsync enabled. The backup from two Raspberry Pi Computers operates without a problem but the backup from a Fedora 32 computer fails with an 'unknown module

idmap_ad
Hi Thanks for the feedback. I currently have 3 production domains. - MYDOMAIN.COM is a production Windows 2008 domain used to support MS Exchange (but not file sharing.) - TECH - Samba3 "classic" domain with unix domain controllers that supports most users for authentication and file sharing. The DC machines are both Samba domains (for Windows clients) and KRB/LDAP

Re: ocfs2 and configfs.ko..fixed...but gnuparted has issues....
I was able to get the source code for ocfs2 and compile it. This worked and created the necessary .ko files Now I have to figure out why gnu parted 1.6.15 has bugs. when I try a partprobe on a partitioned firewire maxtor drive mount -t ocfs2 /dev/sdb1 /u01/oradata/orcl It says no such device.... Any ideas anyone?... Regards, Mandar Vengurlekar ----- Original Message ----- From: Mandar P

NT_STATUS_HOST_UNREACHABLE when trying to access Linux system samba share
I am getting this message when trying to access Samba shares on a linux system. I have 2 linux computers and one Win XP system. I can see/access/read/write on all the WinXP shares from all systems. I can only access the Linux shares on the local system, that is linux1 can see it's own Samba shares, but can't see or access the shares on linux2. the reverse is true for linux2 as well. I am

[LLVMdev] PPC64 buildbot
Hi, I just realised that the PPC64 bulddbot is failing because of a rather stupid issue: http://lab.llvm.org:8011/builders/llvm-ppc64-linux1 Just removing the additional assembly file would make it green again. ;) cheers, --renato

[LLVMdev] [RFC] Requiring python 2.6
So far two bots have complained about 2.7 (but have 2.6): http://bb.pgr.jp/builders/clang-i686-cygwin-RA-centos6/builds/12836/steps/configure/logs/stdio http://lab.llvm.org:8011/builders/llvm-s390x-linux1/builds/12002/steps/configure/logs/stdio Should we just upgrade those bots or reduce the requirement to 2.6? Roaming Profiles not updating.
I'm finding our employees' roaming profiles are not being updated. They were initially created correctly, they copy down onto a new machine, but updates are not put back onto the server. I've also noticed that smbstatus does not show any open dat files, such as ntuser.dat. I would have assumed that these files would have been held open while the client was connected. Employees can

Name resolution for home network?
Hello, For my home network, now that SMBv1 and WINS are gone, I currently rely on etc/hosts for name resolution. I can confirm that a host is no longer found after I comment it out in Windows' C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file. I'd like to use a server instead. With just a couple of Samba servers, I don't bother with Active Directory, and just set them up as stand-alone

rsync not removing files that are out of date
I'm running on Red Hat Enterprise 3 machine with ~700Gb of Storage backing up to a similar machine using rsync backups running 6 times a day on various directories in /home/. The inital rsync copied roughly 150gb. Everything appears to be backing up correctly so no loss of data which is good :) The problem is that he backup server is not removing data that has been removed from the primary
