Still compile errors on Solaris 9 (Ultra Sparc in 64bit mode) Forte C, 2_2 branch from CVS as of about 11am UK time. Because of the original issue below, it dawned on me to re-compile Samba after the RH9 upgrade from RH7.1. The make fails, and I was hoping someone could shed some light on either/both issues. Im building Samba 3.0.7 on Solaris 8. Using Forte 6 Update 2 and GNU make 3.80. gmake runs fine until it failes at nsswitch/libnss_wins.so. Running gmake again won't help. I built it on SPARC/Solaris9 using Sun's Studio7 C-Compiler just now and got some output that I cant use but it migth possibly be useful for you guys to chase a few bug with. Thanks for taking the time to look into this. Since we needed downtime due to the gluster update, we also updated the OS, including samba. We went from 4.2.x to 4.4.4 and many other packages for CentOS were updated as well. OS and samba updates were installed, then server rebooted, then gluster was updated. Created a new test samba share to minimize logs, etc: [VfsGluster] path = /vfsgluster

Hi, I am running configure with the option --with-krb5=/opt/local which is where I have heimdal installed. The problem is that after running make, it still tries to use the include files from SUN that are in /usr/ and this screws up the compile. I can compile samba just fine using --without-krb5.
