Diagnostic Tests: Jarque-Bera Test / RAMSEY
Hello R-Users,
The following questions are not R-technical, but more of general statistical
nature.
1. NORMALITY
I built a normal linear regression model and now I want to check for the
residual normality assumption. If I check the distribution graphically and
look at the descriptive characteristics (skewness and kurtosis are below 1),
I would confirm that the residuals are normally

Can Asterisk ring a specific extension based on the number the outside caller dialed?
I am thinking of having a pots line with multiple numbers on it, and having
Asterisk dial my desk if the outside caller dials xxx-xxx-xxx1, and ring
another desk if the person called xxx-xxx-xxx2, etc.
Can Asterisk do this?

Polycom IP 500 SIP bootrom and firmware upgrades
I am using version 1.4.1.0040 and 2.6.1.0003. I have read about newer
versions out there, how can I get them? I'm having an intermittent issue
regarding DHCP with one of my phones, and I recall when I loaded 1.4.1 on
this one phone, it failed once, then it succeeded the second time.
I am wondering if a firmware update will help. Or is there any known issues
with Fedora Core 2 dhcpd and IP

Samba 2.2.6 bug with Windows XP
Is this a bug or what...

Installed via ports on FreeBSD 4.7 RELEASE
on install I enabled Syslog support, Recycle Bin, and Quota support.
Everything installs properly
I created the groups machines:201, and admins:200.
Added every user with the command "smbpasswd -a <username>"
Also added every machine with this command "smbpasswd -a -m

WG: Samba 2.2.7a and XP pro
Dear Michael,
I just have the same problem you have with samba 2.2.3a on a Suse 8.0
machine and win xp pro. Besides I performed all the steps below.
>From my postings I learned that the prob might have something to do with
a wrong mapping in smbusers file. It seems to me that the workstation
account is mapped to user nobody.
Up to now I was not able to solve the prob.
Do you have any ideas

SASL DIGEST-MD5 NT_STATUS_INVALID_PARAMETER
That's too bad, I was trying to get the Vasco Identikey server working
with samba4 as a backend for FIPS 140-2 compliant OTP, which will only
bind with DIGEST-MD5. I guess I will have to join a Windows 2008 R2 to
the domain as a domain controller.
Thanks for clarifying,
Arthur

SASL DIGEST-MD5 NT_STATUS_INVALID_PARAMETER
Yeah, I'm trying to setup the Indentikey server on Windows instead so it
uses the Windows API instead of LDAP rather than setup a Windows 2008 R2
domain controller for LDAP w/ SASL DIGEST-MD5 authentication. It seems
silly for them to use DIGEST-MD5, but that's what I stuck with for now.
If samba4 could support DIGEST-MD5 that would be great.
Thanks,
Arthur

One place these comparisons are used is to build a provably optimal
register class tree in a Smith/Ramsey/Holloway allocator. Building it
algorithmically is portable to all

Replications errors on 4.5.0 (WERR_BADFILE)
The errors went away, but replication still isn't working properly.
There are objects missing on all DCs, but it isn't consistent at all.

[LLVMdev] Greedy Register Allocation in LLVM 3.0
Hi Jakob,
Yes. I have references. For example, from the top of my head I would name the following papers:
1) A Generalized Algorithm for Graph-Coloring Register Allocation by Michael D. Smith, Norman Ramsey and Glenn Holloway
http://www.cs.tufts.edu/~nr/pubs/gcra-abstract.html
2) Register allocation by puzzle solving by Fernando Magno Quintão Pereira, Jens Palsberg

Asterisk on Fedora Core 2 startup script
I need an rc script that will autorun the module for the wctdm and then
follow that by running asterisk. A first look at google tells me to try this
list.
Thanks,
