[Bug 146] OpenSSH 3.1p1 will not build on BSD/OS 4.2/4.1/4.01

I just went through someone with this problem. And HAVE_BOGUS_SYS_QUEUE_H
worked for them. However you must have BOTH HAVE_SYS_QUEUE_H and
HAVE_BOGUS_SYS_QUEUE_H set.
As for INADDR_LOOPBACK. I'd like to know where on BSD/OS that is defined
so we can

Cray patch against openssh-SNAP-20010802
Significant changes since last patch.
Deleted patches to packet.c and channel.c - not needed.
Add small patch to sshd.c and openbsd/ssh-cray.c
to disable cray process privileges. Depending
on how a cray unicos/unicosmk system is configured user
could su to root without a password with out this mod.
Add no_sco flag to noop check for -lrpc which assumes that
their was a -lyp library.

increasing the size of the journal data file
Hi all
I'm running succesfully 2.2.19pre13ext3
as mentioned in the subject line, I would like to increase the journal file
I have the jfs/* and ext3/* files and I believe that:
+ asigning a new journal (-o journal=[new inode or increased inode]) data can solve it
+ increasing the actual file _appending zeroes_ to it can be used to increase
it online, however the new space will not be

Libguestfs (1.22.6) driver/changes for mingw/win32
Hi,
I attached the changes I made to a vanilla libguestfs-1.22.6 in order to
make it work in mingw/win32.
Added is also the patch required to make QEMU compatible (add a command to
QMP that lists the supported devices (the regilat way you do it print it to
stderr, which is difficult to redirect in win32)).
This is done on behalf of Intel Corp.
Thanks,
Or (oberon in irc)

Problem with web services
Jo se
Have you properly configured the *web server* (Lighttpd, Apache, etc.)
on the Ubuntu server ?.
Does that *web server* serve properly an index.html page ?.
Try to serve a simple html page like:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv='Content-Type' content='text/html; charset=utf-8' />
<title>kultur01</title>
</head>

No subject
webroot.
On Windows and Centos that's easy as that's just ONE directory.
On Debian and it's ancestors, Ubuntu being one of them, there are TWO
directories and he put the files in the wrong one of both and doesn't
symlink them from the right one. I tried to explain this to him on IRC
and I summarized this here on the mailing list.
I'd suggest anyone with web serving related

Patch to enable multiple possible sources of entropy
I have a need to have the same OpenSSH binaries run on multiple machines
which are administered by different people. That means on Solaris, for
example, there will be some with /dev/random, some on which I can run prngd
because they'll be installing my binaries as root, and some which will have
neither because they will be only installed as non-root. Below is a patch
to enable choosing all 3

Re: Bluetooth Device Support
Daniel,
Thanks for the reply.
This is pretty much what I had assumed. I would guess that assigning any
free address, or telling qemu to plug the bt device into a controller that
libvirt creates, might work, but I cant find anything in the documentation
for qemu that would assign an address via command line. Do you know how to
do it?
thanks,
Max

Forwarding race resulting in lost data in openssh-2.9p2
When a TCP connection is established through a tunnel (e.g. using
-L 2000:www.openssh.org:80), all data sent by the local TCP client is
silently dropped until the sshd has opened the connection to the remote
(www.openssh.org). This is very visible when forwarding to a remote host
that is far away (i.e. has high ping time) from the sshd.
I have attached a sample program that shows the problem.

privilege separation breaks dns lookups
When the unprivileged child has chrooted it can no longer open
/etc/resolv.conf, so if the resolver hasn't yet initialized itself then
dns lookups will not be possible. This is unfortunately what normally
happens, but sshd falls back gracefully.
There are a couple of wrinkles: the resolver will typically try talking
to a nameserver on the local host by default (using INADDR_ANY rather

Just to be clear about this, serving files is a dependency functionality
for us.
We need it to e.g. serve the graphics and CSS files for the status
interface. But it's not in any way optimized code and we don't offer any

[PATCH] drop old netinet/in_systm.h include
This header provides only three typedefs: n_long, n_short, and n_time.
OpenSSH doesn't use it at all, and the headers it includes don't. So
punt this ancient include since it offers nothing useful.

Problem with web services

Ok, I did not know about Icecast2 can also serve web pages, wow ... it
is very powerful !!
I do not have Ubuntu, but I experimented with Debian. I put in a
Icecast2 server (server 1) an html page (x.html). In this web page I can
play without problems a radio station that is hosted on another Icecast2
server (server 2), but I can only play a limited time (9:01) the radio
station

Problem with web services
you see, i have 3 icecast servers, one with windows, one with CentOS and
this one with Ubuntu, in the other two the addition of one Online Radio
Player wasn't a problem at all, i just add another .html page redirected
from the main one and it work perfectly.
But in the ubuntu one... well, the history is a little different, and
that's why i send this mail.
You see, what i'm trying to
