Hi, I've been running the foreign language training program The Rosetta Stone(TRS) on wine for months now, but a recent commit to the linux kernel has caused TRS to be unable to read the DVD drive, where the program's data files are kept. Strangely, winefile can still read the data DVD, but TRS cannot, and I'm stumped. Below is the guilty kernel commit (rather long, sorry). Can

ext2 & ext3 lists, Attatched is a patch that allows ext2 and ext3 to link correctly when the kernel is configured with a large NR_CPUS. We do have an immediate need for this patch. This is part of some patches to support sectors > 512. Currently I'm able to boot a Ubuntu kernel but seems that mboot is not working for some reason. This patch add a rdwr_bytes functions which remove the assumption in some places that sector is 512. This function is quite helpful if you are going to read/write a range of bytes to/from the stack without creating stack overflows for free.
